I woke up to the smell of coffee. Sydney was still asleep in my arms, we were still on the couch, still in the living room, and i was still confused. Why? Why brain? Why you no make up mind? Huh? Why do I have to like Ray? Why did I do what I did yesterday? Why did I have to love Syd too? I can't hurt her, and I can't hurt Ray... I could probably make this work.... No! I can't! Stop thinking like that stupid brain! Ugh... I need alcohol, or some sort of drug. Gee doesn't keep alcohol in the house, and ever since... You know. He checks me often for shit like that. I observed Sydney as she slept, he face was in a peaceful expression, her black hair was covering the majority of her face, so I brushed it back. She has such amazing skin, so perfect in it's own way. Syd began to stir, and woke up moments later. Her blueish gray eyes were made vibrant by sleep, she was breath taking. I smiled down at the girl on my chest.
"good morning, sleep well?" I asked, she groaned and layed her head on my chest,
"if I had of known you could get a hangover from ice cream I wouldn't have eaten so much," she complained, I chuckled and kissed the top of her head.
"morning!" Gerard chirped, Syd and I groaned in unison, making my dad laugh.
"that bad huh? I made coffee,"
Before anything else could be said, Syd was off of me and darting to the kitchen. I sat slightly stunned,
"I just got left..." I said, still stunned. She walked back into the living room with a cup of coffee.
"I didn't leave you, I abandoned you," she corrected,
"same thing!"
"yeah? Prove it,"
I opened my mouth to speak, but I couldn't think of anything to say.
"that's what I thought," she pointed out, then turned to my dad, "hey Gee," she chirped, smiling. My dad returned the smile and pulled her into a hug.
"we've missed you honey," he said,
"she said I wasn't allowed to see you, and that if I did she'd break up with me... Or worse..." she said, her words trailed off. I felt the room around me begin to enclose. I blacked out.

Everything was cold. Or was it warm? I can't tell, but I smell blood. Everywhere. I could feel it dripping down my face, and it wasn't even my own. I could hear my fathers call to me, but only faintly. Twisted metal... Blood... Broken glass.... I could hear sirens. I could see Sydney.... She-she's dead. From where the other car hit us, she took the full blow. A piece of metal was jutting from her stomach. I felt tears escape my eyes... Syd... She's dead... I reached my hand out to her, but I never made it. I was ripped from the car by paramedics, I saw both of my dads were still alive, but... Sydney....

I woke up to Sydney, Gee, and Frankie's tear stained faces looking down at me.
"oh my god... Angee what the hell was that?" Frank said, while pulling me into a hug.
"I- I dont know... But..." I started, but was cut off by a group hug consisting of everyone in the room.
"ugh! Too much love! Can't breathe!" I yelled, my fathers laughed and let go. Syd too. I got up from the couch and looked at the time,
"how long was I out?" I asked,
"45 minutes," Gee replied,
"45 minutes? That long?"
"yeah, we were considering calling an ambulance,"
The room was silent, then Frank's cell phone rang. He answered it and left the room.
"I should probably get started on today's list if shit I've been putting off until now," Gerard announced. Syd and I nodded our heads and watched as he followed Frank's path out I'd the room. We turned to each other, just staring into each other's eyes. I couldn't take it anymore, I pulled Syd in and kissed her. My mind is made up on who I want to be with.
