Summary
(Sequel to Not So Bulletproof Hearts.)
Frank goes off on tour leaving his long term girlfriend, Kat, back home in New Jersey. They miss each other a lot. Their love can’t keep them apart, or at least it seems that way to begin with. For Kat graduation is just around the corner and she doesn't plan on staying in New Jersey for very long afterwards. A new environment, new people but the same old love. Are they destined to be together or has Frank’s dive into the limelight set some different plans for the near future?

Brendon Urie
Brendon is also a student at The City College Of New York, he studies music and also has a band called Panic! At The Disco. He gets close with Kat pretty quick but he seems to be closer to Mikey.
Brie Sykes
Kat’s best friend from The Trinity Academy. She’s bubbly, bright and cares a lot about Jade but how will she react to graduation and the new upcoming changes?
Christa Erika
- A student studying at The City College Of New York, she quickly becomes friends with Jade and seems to have a thing for Ray.
Frank Iero (second protagonist)
Kat’s dream guy, hard as nails with a heart of gold, or is it? Frank sets off on tour with his band but Jade always plays on his mind.
Gerard Way
Frank’s best friend and lead vocalist of My Chemical Romance. He had a thing for Frank but his love seems to be heading a different direction now.
Jamia Nestor
Jamia is a tattoo artist who lives in New York. She’s quite flirtatious and tends to flaunt her body and her talent to any guy that passes.
Kat Monroe (protagonist)
Kat is an outgoing, friendly girl who started dating Frank Iero a few months ago. She loves rock music and despite Frank going on tour she’s staying optimistic until he gets back, but where will this new turn in life take them?
Lindsey Ballato
Lindsey is Gerard’s new girlfriend who he met on tour. She’s a pretty girl, tattooed but sweet and kind. She’s a bass guitarist in the band Mindless Self Indulgence and very flexible!
Lola Armstrong
A stunning girl with big blue eyes and bright red hair, she’s really shy but get to know her and once you do she won't shut up. She studies music, media, drama and musical theatre and has a busy home life due to a large family so she expresses herself through performing arts.
Mikey Way
- Still as quiet, awkward and shy as ever but if he likes you Mikey’s personality will bloom dramatically. He loves being on tour with the guys and his big brother and he seems to be settling in quite well in New York City; but there’s one thing he didn’t expect… Brendon!
Ray Toro
Business with the band is booming and Ray has never been happier but there something missing in his life… a girl.
Shiloh Hunt
Her plan to foil Kat’s relationship with Frank didn’t work but she’s back and now Frank’s not on the scene she has a surprise for Kat up her sleeve…
