I'll Keep You Safe Tonight

It’s snowing, fucking snowing, I’m so excited. I mean I know it snows a lot in Jersey but I fucking love the snow. I first noticed it was snowing this morning when I woke up, well after I had my coffee, I’m never good in the morning without coffee, but when I did notice I kind of sort of squealed and woke everyone up. Gerard thought I was hurt, but then ended up laughing at me while I blushed. Anyway that’s how I got to where I am now making a snowman with Gerard while Ray and Mikey have a snowball fight. Right as I put the hat on top of the snowman I get hit in the head with a snowball.
“Hey!” I whip around and see Ray and Mikey pointing at each other.
“He did it!” they both say at the same time.
I roll my eyes and turn around pretending to add more snow to the snowman when I suddenly stand up and hit Ray and Mikey both with a snowball, seeing as they were kissing. Gerard and I start to laugh when a snowball hits Gerard this time and then me. Gee and I stare at each other for a moment before smirking and then look at Ray and Mikey. Without saying anything we all bend down and quickly begin to make snowballs and snow forts as quickly as we can. Gerard and I get our fort up first and duck down behind it making more snowballs and throwing them over at Ray and Mikey.
“Just give up, you’ll never win!” Gee yells.
“Never!” Mikey yells back.
“Then die!” I yell.
Me and Gerard look at each other when all we hear is silence.
Suddenly out of nowhere Ray and Mikey jump over our fort wall yelling, This is Sparta! Gee and I yell and try to get away but are quickly covered in snow from the onslaught of the balls of snow. After the snow ball onslaught stops me and Gee both sit up and laugh along with Mikey and Ray.
“Hey guys, Ray’s cold and we’re going to head inside you coming?” Mikey asks.
Gerard looks at me, “No I think we’re going to stay out a while.” and I smile at him.
After just a while of laying in the snow and giving each other little kissing and cuddling me and Gerard stand up and walk to a park that’s near the house and go to the hill.
“Come on Gerard,” I say and pull him down and start to make a snow angel.
Gee smiles at me and chuckles before starting to make his, once we’re done we both stand up.
“They’re holding hands.” I say smiling and look at Gee pecking him on the cheek.
“Yeah, yeah they are.”
I nervously shuffle my feet and look down at the ground with a slight frown on my face.
“Frankie what’s wrong?” Gerard asks looking kind of worried.
“It’s nothing just…”
“Just what?”
“I’m just scared.”
“Scared of what?”
“Well when I was younger I always thought I’d be fine without a partner but now I don’t know.”
“You’re scared about me?” Gerard asks looking confused.
“No, not you, the idea of being your mate I guess.”
Gerard makes and oh face and pulls me into a hug.
“I’m just scared you’ll leave me.” I say.
“Frankie I’ve been with you through a lot of stuff for the past three months why would you think I would leave you?”
“I don’t know I can’t explain it okay!” I say raising my voice slightly frustrated.
“Hey Frankie I’m sorry I didn’t mean to make you mad just…”
“What?”
“I’m scared you’ll leave me.”
I look up at Gee surprised and see he’s completely serious, “Oh um uh…” I say flustered and start to blush.
“I…I really love you Frankie with all my heart and I just don’t want you to leave me.”
I look up at him and I start to tear up and Gerard looks confused, “Don’t cry Frankie I’m sorry what did I do?” he asks a bit frantically.
“Nothing and everything,” I say smiling, “I’m not upset I’m happy. No one in my life has ever really loved me before and I just.” I just shake my head and smile, “I guess what I’m trying to say is, I love you to Gerard Way, I love you too.”
