Gerard’s P.O.V
“Ohh hey Gerard” he said with a shrug. That’s all he had to say and I was hooked. He was so beautiful. He had light hazel eyes, and thin rosy lips; his lip ring accented his face so perfectly. His red eye shadow made his hazel eyes look nice and his hair was a deflated Mohawk. One side of his head was bleached white and the other was died red, the tip of what looked like his bangs curled perfectly under his right eye. He looked like a hot mess. I could dig that. Wow was I turned on by the way this kid looked? I mean he’s a freshman and I'm a senior our “love” can never be anyways. But damn why did Mikey decide to make a hot friend THIS year? Oh my god did I just call him hot? What does this make me gay, bi, or do I just have good taste in dudes? I looked around to see if anyone saw that I was puzzled.

But no one seemed to care. Frank sat through the rest of lunch just staring at his food and not even looking at me. Anna was talking about a school dance with her best friend while Mikey and Ray were talking about comics.

These were the times when I wondered why the captain of the cheer squad was dating me. Dating people like me was social suicide according to other people right? So why is she even with me? Why did I even say yes when she asked me out?

“Right Gerard?” I heard her say.

“What?”

“That we’re both going to look amazing in red for homecoming.”

“Oh yeah” I said with a confused look on my face.
