The One That Got Away
Chapter 19
Mikeys’ P.O.V
My brother was depressed; I could tell by the way that his shoulders sagged all day. Anna apparently kept her promise to my brother and made sure everyone within a 5-mile radius of wherever they were standing. What I think made his day worse was that he didn’t see Frank at all. Also, we didn’t have art today so that must have made his day worse.
Franks’ P.O.V
I spent all day being mad and bitching at the whole world. I couldn’t even eat lunch with Mikey because Gerard was going to be there… with Anna and god help me that if I survived a lunch hour with her without clawing her eyes out.
Gerard proved to me that he liked me, or so I thought. I thought the way that he kissed me, the way he held me when I was crying, the way that we molded into each other, and just the way he looked at me proved that he liked me. Seeing him this morning him and Anna kissing like they were made one another just broke my heart. I shed a silent tear as I went over this in my mind.
Then I saw Jared standing in the alley again, I don’t know what came over me, but once I was within an arms length of Jared I jumped on him and kissed him.
“Well hello to you too.” He said with a slight chuckle. My blush was such a deep red that it should be added to the Crayola collection because there is no one color to describe how deep the blush was.
“Oh hey Jared.” He pecked my lips and then we made eye contact for a brief moment then made out again. After the lack of oxygen got strong we pulled away one again and I muttered out a whine of complain. Jared turned to say something to me but I quickly interrupted him, “Come home with me.”
