Gerard’s P.O.V

I stared at Frank and Damien, that was previously unnamed, in front of the coffee shop in complete shock. “Mikey tell me that you just saw that?” I asked him as we were sitting down.

“Of course I saw that. I may have been far away, but I am very good at looking without being noticed” he replied looking at me with his ever present poker face.

“Okay, so let us state what we know. 1. The dude the Frank just left with is Damien, 2. They seem to have or have had some sort of relationship, 3. He is also with a guy named Austin, that, 4. Has a brother named André.” After I was done stating the only things I knew about Frank Mikey started laughing like he had just cracked the best joke in the whole world. I gave him a questioning look, because Mikey breaking out into random laughter means that it must have been funny. “Mikey what the fuck is so funny?”

“You are so fucking clueless! It’s funny!”

“I will literally strangle you one of these days Mikey! Now tell me!”

“Ahh on the contrary brother.... if you kill me you will never learn what I know about your beloved Frank.”

“Ahh fuck! You got me! What do you know?”

“You have been in class with this dude since you were in the first grade, he has lived down the street from us since you were born, our mom is friends with his mom since like ever, but ever since Frank Sr. left mom hasn’t talked to Linda, I think her name is, since. Next, the boy you should be worried about is Damien not Austin or André.”

“And why is that?” I asked slightly annoyed now. How could Mikey tell me that I couldn’t get worried about those two! They were super close... too close if you ask me.

“”Because dear stupid brother of mine... unlike Austin and André, Damien has dated little Frankie. While the other two are simply his friends, since the minute his mom popped him out of her vagina.”

“Okay first of all eww and second do you think that they are talking or dating again, Frank and Damien?”

“No way to tell brother, but I would watch them for a while because last I heard one day Frank and Damien were good and the next Damien was gone and Frank was a complete wreck.”

“Okay, that’s what I am gonna do. Watch them two for a while and see what is going on. Then I will make my move. The play is coming up soon and lets just say that I have not purposely been procrastinating on learning my lines.” I finished my little spiel then evilly drank my coffee which made Mikey spit out his coffee and start choking. “You’re disgusting” I told him when he finally regained his breath.

Damien’s P.O.V

“SO FUCKING STUPID! HOW COULD I HAVE PULLED A DICK MOVE LIKE THAT IN FRONT OF FRANK!? NOW HE HATES ME AND NOW I’LL NEVER HAVE A CHANCE WITH HIM! FUCK!” I yelled throwing things around my room, while jumping on them. This had been happening for a good two hours and I was nowhere near declaring victory. I was so mad that I had pulled that stunt in front of Frank and that other dude Gerald or whatever his name was. I picked up the only thing left standing in my room, a picture frame, and lunged it against the wall with all my strength. I watched as it hit the wall and shattered.

I sighed, feeling better, then decided that I should pick up the picture. It was of a sunset similar to the one that me and Frank watched before I made him hate me with the effort of fitting in. As I was removing the glass from the picture I saw that there was something underneath the picture, confused I picked it up and held it in the single ray of sunlight that was left in my room. I read the words on the piece of paper and, as if by a miracle, an idea popped into my head. Frank was gonna like me again and very soon, because someone was coming to town and he was soon to be in my arms.

Frank’s P.O.V

After I left Damien I walked the short way home and fell asleep, quickly totally forgetting a promise I had made earlier.
