Frank’s P.O.V’s

He’s not here... I have been falling apart all day and he didn’t even show up, I bet he’s with Austin and the other one André.

“Okay class today is just committed to practicing your lines with your partners. Gerard since Frank isn’t here you can practice with Karla and Laura because they are also play big parts in this play.” I simply nodded in response because I was still stuck on the reason for why Frank wasn’t in class. I picked up my stuff and reluctantly walked to Karla and Laura so we could practice our stupid lines.

After we were all settled down she started, “When did you know Tony?”

“Know what” I replied completely uninterested.

“Know that I was the one you were made to love?”

“Love?”

“Yes love, Tony” she replied sounding exasperated.

“Love? I have never loved anyone in my life, what makes you any different?”

“When I walked into your bar and you hired me it wasn’t a coincidence,’ she said changing the subject, ‘I wanted you Tony and I knew that you wanted me too. That’s the real reason for why you hired me isn’t it?”

“Umm... I’m sorry,’ I stated breaking out of character, ‘I totally don’t know the next line. Can we, like, take a break or something?”

“Yeah sure” Karla replied. “How do you feel getting the lead in the play Gerard?” she said in the attempt to start a conversation after a short awkward silence.

“Its definitely nerve wracking, but I can take it. I like pressure.”

“Ohh really,’ she said in a flirty tone, ‘my mom likes to call me a challenge. I really like playing leads, like you said they’re challenging. I hope that Frank isn’t here more often so we can practice lines more often.”

“Yeah” I agreed forgetting all about Frank. She was cute and I could see myself having a fling with her. I mean in all fairness wasn’t Frank doing the same thing with Austin. Also I said I liked him, I’m not pledging purity to him. My thoughts were interrupted by the bell ringing and by the time I was packed up and out of the room Karla was down the hall. “Hey Karla,’ I yelled, she stopped and turned towards me, ‘How would you like to go to the movies with me today?” I asked finally catching up to her.

“Sure! I would love too!”

Frank’s P.O.V

I decided to ditch theater with Austin to avoid confronting Gerard. Although I was still pretty mad at him for starting a near fight with Gerard I couldn’t stay mad at him he was my best friend.

“Hey Frankie since you have like no homework why don’t we go to the movies?” Austin pitched in from his position on my bed. We had crashed here after we stopped for coffee about an hour ago.

“Sure, just let me call my momma to make sure she knows and for her to give me money.” My mom said it was okay and told me where she kept extra money because she wasn’t coming home soon.

When we arrived at the movies and decided on a the goriest movie they were playing, because even though I am gay I still like my gore. After the movie Austin and I were having an amazing conversation when all of a sudden he stops and tells me that we have to go home now.

“Austin wh--” I stopped and looked at what Austin had seen a couple of seconds ago. Gerard was sitting on a bench kissing the lead of the school play Karla. My mind was running at a thousand miles a minute, I don’t know how I got to Austins car or how he even managed to catch up to me. All I can see and feel is my heart shattering and Austin trying to calm me down.

“Austin how could he do this! I--I can’t Austin! I don’t want to!”

“I know sugar its okay. You’ll live, it’s just Gerard” he whispered then kissed the top of my head.

“Its because its Gerard that it hurts” I said looking up.

“I know Frankie, I know. How about we go to my house I think I have just the thing to cheer you up!” I nodded and as I was getting into his car I see Gerard not too far away from us, staring at me. “Ignore him, or I might just have to kill him okay Frankie?” Austin commented once he heard me whimper. I decided to listen to him because he was seething with anger.
