I look at his face, a face from long ago. It is the same, but there were some changes. The hair that hung in his face now has white stripes in it. His face is paler, not as much tanned by the sun. It is white actually. In his mouth, I can see them clearly if he speaks, are fangs. And his eyes. Bright red.
Gerard Way, Party Poison.
We talk about some useless and everyday things. He just seems so happy, happier then I remember him. He swings his legs back and forth, like a child. He asks me all kinds of stuff, like what is the city like when it's day and what is work like. I answer every questions he shoots at me, I don't have a change to ask one myself.
'You still didn't answer me.' I look at him in confusion. I answered every question. 'What I asked you when you called my name. How do you know it?' He clarifies as he sees my face.
'I know you from my childhood.' A safe answer. I still don't know how he's still alive. The last I've seen from him was him dying inside of Bli's headquarters. He doesn't seem very happy about my answer.
It has been bugging me from the first time he spoke to me. He just doesn't act like the Party Poison I know. Childlike, free from any worries. Laughing and being full of energy.
'I have to go sadly. Bye.' I say as I stand up and walk away. He also stands up, but he walks toward me, instead of away as I expected.
'Wait, let me walk you home.'
'But you don't know where I live.'
'I do, if you show me.' He answers me with a smile. He looks so happy, maybe he smiled like this before the apocalypse destroyed his life.
We walked to my home, it wasn't that far away. We talked some more, but nothing serious and somehow we avoided to talk about the resistance.
We've arrived and we tell each other goodbye. I walk in silence to my door. It is a weird silence. Funny how quickly I got used to the sound of his voice.
As I fall onto my bed I realise how tired I am and I go straight to sleep. Luckily it's Saturday tomorrow.

I walk to the building my room is in. It is a huge building. Tall walls, big windows. I don't like the windows, I don't like all the light that enters it at day. I walk through the doors which open especially for me at night. I'm the only one who is allowed to go out and come in at night. It makes me feel special. Like I'm important.
I glide down the stairs to the underground department. That's where my room is. I wave at the guards as I run down the hallways. Why are they here anyway? It's not like something's gonna happen in the night. I saw it with my own eyes that everybody is asleep at night. Everybody but that strange little girl. Why am I calling her a little girl? She's a woman and not that short.
I hear a short scream, soft, echoing through the hallway. Probably one of the science people trying to wake up my friends. That's one of the things I can remember, my friends. I don't like to think about the other things. They are all bad.
The door is open, like I left it. When I enter my room I make a handspring. Why? Because I like doing it! I run to one of my wall and make a few steps on it. I jump backwards to one of the many pipes hanging there.
I have a very big room. Filled with pipes to hang from, to different kinds of hammocks I can lie in. My stuff is scattered throughout the room. My wall once where white, but now completely filled with drawings and painting I made. I'm very proud of my biggest one. It's a car. It's weird and ugly, but I love it.
I grab a book and I hang upside down from one of my pipes in the middle. I look down at my floor. Mats are covering it in case I fall. Usually I don't fall, but when I do it's nice to know I won't fall that hard.
I hear my door opening so I look at it. It was Mister, I don't know his name so I just call him Mister. He always comes to talk to me and to tell what they want me to do. Last evening he told me I could show my face to someone and scare them. I don't like scaring people, but I did it anyway. I thought I succeeded until she said my name.
'So Gerard, I heard you were home. How did it go?' He yells to me. He's nice. Well, he always talks nice to me. I don't know what he's like when he's not around me.
I climb down to a pipe where if I am upside down our faces are at the same height.
'I made some more graffiti, with the message I had to make. Some girl saw me doing it so I scared her. Just like you asked me.' For some reason I don't tell them about her, that we talked. I don't know why, but I don't think I should. 'But could you leave now? I'm tired and I want to sleep.' He leaves me alone and the door closed behind him. I turn of the light and climb to one of the hammocks I use as a bed. Some pipes and beams are glowing in the dark, so I don't make mistakes.
When I lie down I think about why I didn't said anything about the girl. Something tells me she has to do something with the past I so much want to remember.
