Chapter 2
Me mikey hung out in his room for a while until mr way called to let us know dinner was ready. We walked down and I sat next to mikey across from mr way. "Frank are you sure your not hungry?" Mr way questioned. "Yea mr way it's fine I'm sure my brothers will have dinner for me when I go home and I had a big lunch. So I'm fine thank you though."
"You know what just call me gee outside of school ok? It feels weird being called mr way outside of the classroom."
"Haha ok gee but really I'm fine.like I said ill just eat with my brothers."
"Who are your brothers? I didn't think there were any other ieros in school or don't they go to Belleville?" Gee asked.
"Uh no..they go there, but were step brothers so we don't have the same name and we don't really talk to each other much in school." I stated kind of awkwardly. No one liked my brothers they were the biggest dicks in the school and even I couldn't deny it. Outside of school they were fine I mean they didnt really like me cause I was gay but we get along all right.
"What are their names?" Gee asked. I already knew he hated them because we had art all together and they always misbehaved and fought with mr way.
"Uhm jack and Tyler smith-"
"your brothers are the twins!!" He yelled. I just nodded. "No offense frank but there the worst kids I've ever taught and if their your brothers why do they always pick on you? I mean if you don't mind me asking."
"oh no of course not its fine, and I know they're dicks but outside of school their actually really cool. They only pick on me well because let's just say we don't exactly bat for the same team , and-"
"your gay!" Mikey exclaimed and I just nodded shyly. Maybe they were homophobes. "Dude no way so are me and gee!!" We'll that's not something I was expecting.
"Mikey!" Gee exclaimed angrily. "What it's true! So frank do you have a boyfriend?"
i actually used to have a boyfriend but I never talk to about him to anyone. It ended badly he was abusive and always had to point out how fat I was which is one if the reasons I stopped eating. "Uh I used to but not anymore."
"Aww how come?" Mikey asked innocently. "I'd uh rather not talk about it..."
"Oh I'm sorry! I didn't mean to get to personal or anything."
"No Mikey it's fine I just..well only jack and Tyler know what happened and well I just kind of keep it that way.."
***time lapse***
we were all just sitting in the kitchen still talking and I have to say the way brothers are two awesome motherfuckers.
My phone started ringing and it was jack so I answered while still in the presence of gee and mikey. "Hey jack whats up?"
"W-what?" Jack continued to say about how the doctor had sent another warning letter to my parents concerning my weight and eating habits. "Jack you can't tell mom! I swear to god if you do ill kill you!" I saw gee and mikey exchange a worried look. "Uhm excuse me please." I said to the ways before stepping out of the kitchen into the hall. "Frank this is serious! You have to start eating or you'll get really sick!" Jack pleaded.
"Jack I swear I've been eating! I'm at my friends house eating right now! What does the report say anyway?" I was so caught up listening to jack that I didn't notice both of they ways standing at the end of the hall I was in, they were behind me and apparently listening. "frank it says you only weigh 98.6 pounds and that your bones are completely visible everywhere! This is serious!" Even though the twins were dicks they both still cared for me because they know it was my ex who made me like this.
"There is no fucking way that's my weight jack! It has to be a mistake! There did also no way you could see my bones, and you know that!" I yell whispered at him. "Frank this is serious I won't tell mom only if when you come home you eat!"
"Fine but I won't be home until later! I'm fine jack! Now please leave me alone and go get up Tyler's ass instead!" I yelled and then hung up. I almost had a heart attack when I saw the ways behind me both looking worried and concerned.
"Frank who was that?" Gee asked. "It was one of the twins..."
"why did you seem so mad at him?" He continued. "He was just trying to scare me.. It's fine but do you mind if I stay for a couple more hours? I don't really feel like playing twenty questions with the twins."
"You can stay but only if you tell me the truth about why you were mad at jack."
"I already told you he was just trying to scare me!" I answered getting pissed off.
"Frank me and mikey aren't stupid. I heard something about your weight and bones being mentioned?"
"Yea so"
"we'll what about them? Why don't you tell us your weight?" Gee asked truly concerned, but I could also tell that both him and mikey were freaking out internally.
"I don't like to share my weight...I know I'm overweight anyways..." I trailed off feeling like I was about to cry. Why couldn't I be naturally thin like the twins or mikey!? It just wasn't fair. "Frank I know I'm you r teacher but honestly consider me a friend and as a friend I can tell just from looking at you that you aren't even close to overweight! Now come on tell us we won't tell anyone we promise right mikey" mikey nodded
"fine I weigh 98.6 pounds.." As soon as I said that both brothers gasped. Mikey was the first to speak though. "Frank do you realize how underweight that is! Your my age right 17?" I nodded "frank most kids are age weigh almost 2-300 pounds! How are you even that light? You do t look like you less than 100?"
"I wear baggy clothes so no one can make fun of my fat..." I answered. I hated being lied to I knew I was overweight and that was that.
"Frank if you don't mind would you lift your shirt please?" Gee asked. "Your going to be disgusted. I already told you I'm overweight and fat why would you want to see it?!"
"Frank just please lift your shirt." I did what he asked and as soon as I did I regretted it . Both brothers gasped and mikey put his hands over his mouth in schock. "Frank your-your hips...their sticking out...and your ribs..you can see them all! How did you even survive?! When s the last time you've eaten and don't you dare lie!" Gee yelled at me. "I don't know I think Tuesday...."
"But today's Tuesday...FRANK YOU HAVEN'T EATEN IN A WEEK!!" Gee exclaimed. "Are you anorexic or-"
"NO! Stop I don't have a fucking eating disorder no matter what you or the twins think! I'm fine and I'm not being sent back to therapy for a problem I don't have!" And with that I stormed out the door.
