~Desperate's P.O.V.~

Gerard walked into the hotel room.

"we've got to go, like, now," he said, Frank rolled his eyes then grabbed my hand and stalked out the door.

"I are talking my pet kitty," Frank said patting my head. I smiled.

"you don't like cats," Gerard pointed out,

"I like this one," my face turned red at his comment, Gee huffed and pushed past us. we followed him down to the lobby where we met up with the rest of the band.

"you're on in five!" I heard someone say, I looked at Gerard who was staring at me.

"what?" I said,

"you look like an insane fangirl,"

I blushed and looked down, "I've never been to a concert before," I said sheepishly, He looked at me in disbelief.

"seriously?"

"um, yeah. loud noises kinda scare me,"

"two minutes!" someone yelled, Gerard gave me a hug, "you'll be fine, don't worry,"

"what's wrong?" I heard Frank say, we looked in his direction to see that he was holding Pansy.

"this is Dess's first concert," Gerard replied,

"dude, really?"

just as I opened my mouth to reply, a tech person yelled, "you're on!"

Gee, Frank, Mikey, Bob, and Ray all gave me small grins, then walked out onto the stage. I watched them from the shadows of the backstage area.

"hey Detroit! Do you wanna fuck me?" Gerard yelled to the crowd, he was answered with a lot of enthusiastic screaming. I felt adrenaline pump through my veins. they announced the first song. Helena. I sung along with them, I couldn't help but start to cry when they got to 'thank you for the venom'. I was ripped from my emotions when the song finally ended and Gee made an announcement.

"we have a special surprise guest tonight," he began, the crowd began to whisper in excitement and wonder. shit...

Gerard looked in my direction as he called me on stage, "Desperate, would you come here please?"

I shook my head. "aww, don't be a buzz kill, I don't want o have Frank drag you out from there,"

with the threat of being dragged out by Frank, I reluctantly stepped onto the stage and walked to where Gee was standing. he turned to the audience and introduced me,

"this is Desperate, she is a friend of the band," he smiled and looked at me, "would you like to sing with me?"

I shook my head, face turning scarlet.

"c'mon! you know you want to!"

"sing! sing! sing!" the audience began to chant, I finally gave in.

"okay, you win, what song?" I said, Gerard smiled.

"how about Cemetery Drive?" he suggested. before I could respond, I heard the familiar tune begin to play. shit...
