~Desperate's P.O.V.~

His cold body lay in the casket. I couldn't help but allow tears to fall. my friend is dead. my best friend is dead. and the worst part is, it was my dad who killed him. I was grateful that my dad was in prison, where he would remain for the next thirty years. but nothing will ever make me forget about him. nothing. never. I touched my lips. his had been on mine when he died. Shane... I just loved you so much. you were like a brother to me. sorrow wrapped my body.

after the funeral, Shane's brother drove me home. I hugged him tight, and said so many apologies. he kissed my cheek and told me it was going to get better, but it never did. I walked into my house to find my mother on the couch, drunk, as always.

"the world is so much better off without that stupid emo fag you called a friend," he snarled drunkenly, I knew it wasn't going to end well, but I stood up for myself and my dead friend.

"excuse me? you have no right to talk about anyone like that," I growled, she got up and slapped me hard across the face,

"you little bitch! is that anyway to talk to your mother?!" she punched me in my stomach, I dropped to my knees, "is it??"

I didn't answer her, she kicked me in my jaw, "you little slut! get the hell out of my house!"

I was shoved back into reality when Frank shook my shoulder.

"hey, we're here," he said, pulling me up off the couch. we grabbed all of our things, and checked into the hotel. Gerard handed Frank his key.

"you and Dess are going to have to share a room," he said,

"cool," Frank replied, smirking at me.

"no funny business,"

we walked up to our rooms. Frank unlocked the door, and allowed it to swing open, gesturing for me to go in first. I entered the hotel room, and heard him shut the door behind us. I looked around the room, the walls were a nice shade of sky blue, the bed was big and looked very plush. it had all the things you might see in an apartment or house, kitchen included. I went into the bathroom, there was a big bath tub. it looked so very, very alluring. Frank came in and hugged me from behind, he kissed my neck.

"mmm... if we didn't have a show tonight I would so totally take you out," he said into my neck,

"but theres other things we can do..."
