Only The Lonely

After a long weekend, Don had relaxed and finally stopped trying to keep Kat & Gerard apart. He still cast them dirty looks on occasion but by Tuesday afternoon while loading the car with luggage for the trip home, he pulled Gerard aside. "Listen, I know you haven't been dating for long, but thanks for keeping your hands off my daughter." Gerard noddedm biting his tongue to hold back a sarcastic remark. "No problem sir. She's a great girl." Considering the fiasco the last week had been, he knew there was no point mentioning how they got together.

"You boys ready yet?" Alana called from the front step "Just finished." Kat skipped out, hugging her mother and sister before jumping in the car. The ride to the airport was silent and awkward. Thankfully the flight wasn't and the pair slept the entire way home. Mikey picked them up and ordered a pizza. "So how was it?" Mikey grinned "Can I kill my sister? She's so rude!" Kat whined. "I need a few beers to erase all memory of the entire trip except for the shower thing." Gerard smirked. "Don't. Just don't." Mikey grimaced as they pulled up at his & Gerard's house. "Finally. I'm staying here tonight. I'm too fucked up to drive." Kat yawned. After unloading the car, the trio trudged inside. The pizza came and the storytelling began. "I had to tell him I was sitting where I wanted to." "Serious?" "Serious!" "And Baylie, oh my god she is such a brat."
