Thanksgiving arrived what seemed like seconds later and Kat was poring over her cookbooks she had left home "Pumpkin pudding...where is it?" she frowned and flicked through the book until she found exactly what she was looking for "Pumpkin, spices and milk. Got it." she hummed as she started pulling out the ingredients. She was up before everyone else just to avoid the stress of cooking with her family around. After she put the pumpkin mixture in the oven, she decided on making coffee for the entire family including Gerard. Last night was exhausting. Baylie was off spending the night and part of the day with her friend and Alana & Don had gone to finish shopping for the final ingredients for the big meal, only to be gone for over an hour. Gerard had claimed to be napping and Kat said she was taking a shower and reading a book. Neither stories were lies, yet they weren't the whole truth. Seizing the opportunity, they had sex while in the shower within minutes after the parents had left


Kat came back to the present and poured a cup of coffee for herself as Gerard trudged in wearing an old Iron Maiden shirt and skull and crossbones pajama bottoms "Good morning. There's coffee but make sure there's enough for everyone else." Kat kissed his cheek and spooned sugar into her mug. Today was going to be a long day.




Throughout the day, the kitchen was crowded and smelled of pumpkins and other delicious foods. Of course at dinner, Don asked Gerard to pray over the meal, just to make him uncomfortable "Um..Holy Father, thank you for the delicious food you gave us to eat. Thank you for me being able to visit and spend the holiday with Kat and her family. And thank you for giving me Kat. Amen." Kat's face turned red, making Baylie tease her "You look like a tomato! Do you want a tomato, tomato face? Oh wait, you're allergic!" Baylie laughe
