Chapter 23
I held Toby close to my body and just smiled at him. He was asleep in my arms and Alicia had just fell asleep with already sleeping Mikey next to her. Gee was out getting something to eat and Donna and Donald went home for a nap. So it was just me and Toby here.
My god he is cute. I ran my finger down his small warm cheek, He stirred a but under my touch but didn't wake. I smiled down at him and kissed his forehead.
"Hey there." I whispered, careful not to wake anyone up. "I'm your aunt." I introduced myself, "I'm not normal this big, but I'm carrying you cousin in here." I guested to my growing bump.
Normally I would be irritated how my swollen belly would be getting in the way of everything but I had little Toby resting on my bump, so it worked out fine.
"You guys are so cute." Gee said making an appearance in the doorway. I smiled at him and he made his way over to me.
"Here." I said handing over Toby to Gee, he picked him up with ease and looked really comfortable, not to long now at it will be our baby he holds. I smiled and ran my hand over my bump, making the baby kick a lot.
"Toby." Gerard started saying, Toby Way, Toby, Toby."
"Trying to wake him?" I asked.
"No, just thinking about the name. I never would have though of Toby."
"Me neither. What about this one?" I asked running my hand over my bump again.
"Hmm, guess we'd better pick some out." He said.
Just then, Toby started to stir in Gerards arms and begin to whimper, I started to get worried but Gee stayed calm and started to bounce him in his arms and shushing him. Toby still whimpered a bit but he calmed down. He didn't fall back asleep but he stopped his fit.
"Hey there little guy." he said in a baby voice, he started to whimper again. "Dont you start with me." He warned, " Toby stopped whimpering and started at Gerard. "That's what I thought."
"Your so perfect." I said and walked over to him and pecked his lips.
"Kay now back to names." He said.
"I like Frank Jr." Frankie said as he and Ray walked in. Ray was holding a teddy bear that made me go 'aww'.
"In your dreams Iero." Gee said and laughed, so did Frankie.
"Lemme see!!" Frank exclaimed towards the baby.
"Shh!!" Gerard and I said at the same time, pointing to the sleeping parents.
"Sorry." He mouthed and pointed to Toby, Gerard rolled his eyes and handed over the baby, making sure Frank wouldn't drop him. Frank held Toby close to him and Ray stood behind him and held his shoulders and stared at the baby with a smile on both of there faces. I could tell they were gonna want a baby soon.
"What about Mark." Gee said pushing me towards a seat. How thoughtful.
"No to simple."
"Jacob."
"Like from twilight? God no."
"Is this gonna be like the shower with Sarah again?" He asked. I laughed.
"No, how about something with a 'A'" I suggested.
"I like A, Allan?" He tried.
"Too old, Adam?"
"Nah, Aiden?"
"Eh, Austin?" I tried.
"No, hmmm."
"God you guys are hopless, how about Alexander?" Frankie said.
"Alexander Way, I like it." Gee said.
"So do I."
"Did I just name your baby?" Frank asked with a smile.
"i think you just did." I said.
"What about a middle name?" Gerard asked.
"Mason." I said.
"Alexander Mason Way." Gee said running a ran over our baby, earning a few kicks, he smiled down and kissed my belly.
************3 Months Later *************
We barley heard from Mikey and Alicia after Toby was born. We had a few phone call from them but Toby took up all of there time, we didnt mind because we knew we would be dealing with the same thing soon.
When I went into labor, Gee and Mikey were having a guys night and I was home alone, it was 11pm and I was scared shitless. Guys night means drinking, even if Mikey was only 20. I tried calling Gerard but he didnt answer. I hulled myself out of bed and walked down to Frankies apartment, I struggled opening the door because of the pain the baby was giving me.
When I managed to get in, Frank was asleep on the sofa and I had no idea where Ray was. I got to him as quickly as my pregnant legs would let me go and I hit him with a pillow near by. He opened his eyes and when he saw he me re-closed them.
"What?" He asked, "I'm sleeping."
"And I'm in labor." I told him. When I said that his eyes shot open and stood up.
"Are you serious?"
"Yup." Then I got another contraction and clutched my belly and groaned in pain. Frank rubbed my back.
"Where Gerard?"
"Guy night with Mikey. I tried calling but he didn't answer, Frankie I'm scared." I whinnied.
"It's okay sweetheart, let's get you to a hospital." He said and started pushing me to the door.
We got to the hosptial and they took me in and got me a room right away, Frankie called Gerard about a thousand time but got no answer, he even tried Mikey a few times but nothing. We called Donna and Donald and they came down in a heart beat.
"Should I call Alicia?" Frank asked.
"Its almost midnight, and she has a baby, she needs sleep." I told him through my pain.
"But she might know where the Way's are." He added.
"fine."
He called her and she answered and told him the bar where they were. Alicia said she would be there soon and she didn't mind going, also that the baby was up and would probably be up for a while. I tried to convince her to stay at home but she told me to shut up and what are sisters for.
"I'm gonna go get them." Frank said and kissed my cheek.
"No!" I grabbed his hand and another contraction came and I squeezed the hell out of his hand but he didn't care, he came closer and stroked my face. "Don't leave me please." I begged.
"I'll get them." Donald said and left the room.
20 minutes later Gerard came running in the door and to my side. He grabbed my hand and kissed me about a thousand times and apologized about a thousand more.
"God I'm so sorry. I never should have gone out."
"Its fine." I said through the pain.
"Good timing Mr.Way." The doctor said as she came in, "Your ready to push Tammy. I need everyone to leave." Everyone started to walk out of the door, Frank to, he lingered at the doorway.
"I swear Frank if you leave I'm gonna kill you." I told him.
A smile grew on his face as he ran over to the other side of me and took my hand. Gee smiled at him and they fist bumped each other over me.
"Save your friend love for later! I'm trying to have a baby here!" I yelled and they both laughed.
10 minutes later I was crying as they put my new baby boy in my arms. I looked to Gerard and he had happy tears streaming down is face as well. Alexander Mason Way, born at 9:45am 6 pound 4 ounces. He is the pride and joy of Gerard's and my life.

"I swear Frank if you leave I'm gonna kill you." I told him.
A smile grew on his face as he ran over to the other side of me and took my hand. Gee smiled at him and they fist bumped each other over me.
"Save your friend love for later! I'm trying to have a baby here!" I yelled and they both laughed.
