Star Crossed Lovers

I hear nothing but quiet breathing and racing heart beats. I open my eyes and look up into the beautifull eyes of Gerard, i want to smile but then i wonder how in the fuck i got here? It all comes flooding back, the plan to get rid of the vamps and then seeing Gerard as one. I quickly climb out of his lap and go over to were i noticed Ray and Pete were standing. They both look at me with worry and confusiin etched in their faces. I turn to face Gerard and his vampire friends just as the tall muscular blond and the lanky bespecalted one look over their shoulders at us. "I've found my mate." I heard come out of their mouths when they spoke to Gerard. I heard the heart beats of Ray and Pete speed up even more in panic and before i could ask them anything they took off running for all they were worth. Before i can take off after them i hear a small,"Wait!". I turn to look at Gerard his face full of urgency and the hope that i would stop and listen. Torn between following my friends and staying to listen to this beautiful man that i love, (A/N, yes frank came to realization that he loves Gee) i pause in my departure and face him waiting for him to go on. " I don't know whats going on, i don't know why we feel this way... but you have to believe me when i say that e will never hurt you." Not being able to push aside my snarky side i retort, "Why should i believe you, Leech?" with a slight snarl. I see a look of hurt cross all their faces and i feel like a bit of an asshole for responding to him in that way. Just as i am about to apologize he begins again. "Its crazzy but we have no doubt that you guys are our mates. Its not something we can make up or fake even if we tried and we wouldnt do that considering the danger it puts all of us in with our coven. We dont understand it especially considering the fact that you are all human." I give a small snort, "i think its pretty obvious that we're not human, well at least not completley." "What do you mean?" "We're hunters." I say simply. He seems shocked when i say this, "Hunters? I didnt think they even existed anymore." The tall skinny kid speaks up, " Gee, it makes sense, mom and dad moving us, even if its only a town over. After Ryan and his family 'dissappeared', they freaked out remember?" It dawns on me that the four vampires we had killed the other night were the ones they were talking about. Before i can think about it anymore i hear a hiss and turn in its direction to see the blond with eyes black and fangs out once again he charges at me pinning me to the ground bymy throat. "YOU KILLED RYAN! I KNOW YOUDID I SAW YOUR FACE! HE WAS OUR BESTFRIEND! WHAT DID HE EVER DO TO YOU? HUH?" he yells down at me in anger. "Nothing. Its what we do. We had to kill him. Its not a choice, we are vampire hunters and i and the rest of my clan were only doing what hs been done by hunters for centuries." "Ha! You're not even sorry, its okay cause im not gonna be sorry for this either." He whispers before tightening his grip on my throat cutting off my airway. I claw at his arms trying to get free but in his anger he is incredibly stronger. Just as i start to feel a lightheaded i hear another hiss and feel the blond thrown off of me. I gasp for breath as the air rushes back into my lungs with a painful burn. I look up to my savior and see Gerard standing in front of me protectively, fangs bared and eyes black. "Dont you EVER touch MY MATE like that again! Do you understand me, Bob?" He says to him venom laced in his words. "Im sorry Gee, iwas way out of line. I know the rules its just i was so angry i saw red and didnt think." He walks over to me, passing Gerard and holds out his hand. I take it and lift myself off the ground with his help. "Im sorry Frank, as i just said i wasn't thinking. I promise though that it'll never happen again. It's against vampire law to harm anothers mate, no matter what. I hope you can forive me." He says with sincerity. "I do. I understand why you did that, he was your friend. You had every right to react that way. I'm sorry for killing your friend its just that we see or hear of a vamp and we hunt it down and kill it . No exceptions." Gee speaks up,"Then why haven't you killed me...us." he gestures to himself,Bob, and the boy that i assume is his brother. I feel myself blush by the thought of the feelings the passion gives me when i near him. "Umm..we hunters have somthing called passion that tells us when vampires are neaar. We usually feel things like hate,anger,and bloodlust, but with you it was different i felt.." i blush even harder at having to describe this to him, "love, longing,happiness,and lust" i whispered the last part hoping that despite his heightened hearing he hadn't heard. I see their faces pale and know that they did indeed hear that part. "So you love Gerard?" the boy with the glasses asks. "Mikey!" Gerard whispers harshly while looking down not wanting to make eye contact with me. I look at him and step forward and dowhat i had been wanting to do sincd the moment i laid eyes on him. I lift his chin and press my lips to his in a small chaste kiss. I pull away the passion practically radiating through my body. He looks at me stunned as i smile at him and soon he returns it. "Yeah,i do love him."i say quietly answering Mikeys question. "What about your friends though? Do you think it made them feel the same way?" Bob and Mikey both look at me expectantly waiting my answer. "Honestly, i dont know. By the way they freaked out though i would say they do. Its just harder for them since they havent had time to process their feelings. The fact that you're vampires doesn't help their confusiin either." Something like despair graaces their faces as i say this. "But i can talk to them. Help them understand. I cant say it will be easy but i can try. They are the some of the most stubborn motherfuckers though so it might take so.e work. I promise you both, that i'll try my best." They nod and let small hopefull smiles fall into the place of their frowns. "I should probably go after them now though before they do anything stupid." "Okay" they all three sy at once. Before i can turn to go Gerard grabs my hand and brings it up to his mouth licking the almost healed cut, sealing it completley. I look up at him in wonder, he just leans down and gives me one more small kiss with a smile on his lips. "That way no other vampires smell your blood. Just in case you know?" "Thanks." I turn away and take off running to the car, no doubt they left it behind in their rush, i hop in and speed home hoping to find them there. Praying to a nonexistent God that they havent told anyone. I suddenly see three colored blurs rush past my car aand smile knowing its my love. I speed up determined to get to Ray and Pete. I pull into my driveway and rush to the basement knowing they would be in there. I see them both sitting on the beat up old couch Ray with his head in his hands and Pete curled into a ball at the end of the couch. I feel relief flood over me as Pete says, "What the hells going on?" I pull a chair in front of the couch and seat my self taking a deep breath. I open my mouth and begin to explain.

Sorry guys i know i promised this yesterday but i got into it with my boyfriend and we ended up arguing for the better part of the eveming. So i completley forgot. We were able to work it out and being the awesome boyfriend he is he reminded me that i had to post this for you guys. So yeah...
