I'd Be Another Memory
Chapter 1
Glitter adorned girls crowded the grungy nightclub, in pursuit of the older men sitting at the bar drinking their cheap scotch.
Amber Hamilton, on the other hand, was in search for the boyfriend, who said he'd meet her here 45 minutes ago. She had dressed up, hoping to have a nice date night with her perfect bo, but he was late again, as usual. Her short dress was hiking up her thigh and irritating her.
She waited and waited, not wanting to admit to herself that this was stupid. She shouldn't have given this boy another chance. He had cheated, too many times to count and she forgave him. But this was it. He was never going to be the great amazing guy he was when they first met ever again and she had finally realized it.
Dialing his number, she sighed and downed her martini, waiting for him to answer. He, of course, never did. So she left a message. "James, this is it. I'm done. I'll drop your shit off on your porch later. Have fun with whoever she is."
Slapping the phone closed, she smirked, feeling like a weight has been lifted.
She walked out of that bar with her head held high, planning her night out, seeing as her plans have changed. A call to a friend and she now had an invite to a house party someone over the river was throwing.
The crisp Jersey air smelled of pollution and sex as she walked past all the dirty bars towards her lonely apartment. Once their, she changed into a pair of short jeans shorts, a grey tank top with a low cleavage line, black lace tights with her favorite pair of black high heeled Mary Janes. Tonight was gonna be a great night. And it was all about her having fun.
