American high school more than lives up to her expectations - jocks pushing her around because she's 'weird', people treating her like shit. And going to her so-called 'home' is no better. She's on the edge. Not that she doesn't deserve it, - she knows she's a fat, ugly, worthless freak. Then, she meets Gerard. He and his friends show her something other than fists. He's too good to be true. But that's the problem. Krissy knows she shouldn't be this fortunate, that's not how her life works. She's just waiting for him to walk away...
