I Never Stopped Loving You
Chapter 7: The Beginning Of Our Break
Lindsey P.O.V.
Our week break has begun. We were in Missouri now.
Steve and Lucinda went to town for the week. Jimmy, Jennifer, and I stayed along with the others.
I have been ignoring Gerard, just like Eliza had told me to. I really do dislike her. No, I take that back, hater her. I really do hate her. I don't know what Gerard sees in her.
Jennifer and I are sitting outside our tour bus. I really have no idea what the fuck we're doing. Just staring into space, I guess.
"So, what are you going to do this week," Jennifer asked.
"I heard there's a country park here, so I might go there," I said.
"You may be pale, but you sure like to go outside." Jennifer said.
"Thanks," I said with a smile.
"So..." Jennifer started. "Why are you ignoring Gerard? Did he do something to you?"
"No, no. It's just... you know the situation," I said.
Jennifer didn't know about the whole Eliza thing. It's good that I don't tell Jennifer, just for Eliza's safety.
"Oh, you really do love him," Jennifer said.
"Yeah. Yeah I do," I said quietly.
"It'll get better later. Karma's a bitch, just remember that. Karma'll get Eliza," Jennifer said patting my back.
"Thanks." I said with a smile.
Frank and Ray were walking. They saw us and thought it was nice to join us.
"Hey girls." They said taking the seats next to us.
"Hey guys," we said.
"So, what is the agenda for your girls this week?" Frank asked.
"Well, you want to go first," Jennifer asked.
"Sure. Well, for me, I heard there's a country park not too far from here. I want to go there," I said.
"Cool. Can we join?" Ray asked.
"Don't you guys have something to do?" Jennifer asked.
"Well, nope. Jamia doesn't want to travel when our girls are barley months old," Frank said.
"And I have nothing to do," Ray said.
"Sure. You guys can come," I said.
"Cool. So the four of us are going?" Jennifer asked.
"I'll ask Jimmy if he wants to come," I said.
"I'll ask the rest of the guys," Frank said.
"Okay so I'm rounding like maybe ten," I said.
"Yeah." Jennifer said.
"So. Just be ready in case we fine some trails." I said.
"Oh. I warn you," Jennifer began. "Lindsey likes to walk in the woods. So there is a ninety-nine percent chance that we'll be in a trail."
"Oh, this will be fun," Frank said.
I narrow my eyes at him. He's planning something.
"What?" He asked.
"Nothing..." I said and looked at the ground.
We were silent for a moment.
I kept looking at the sky for some reason. It was cloudy and sunny. The clouds were huge. Puffy, too.
There was some wind. Actually, I take that back, it was pretty windy.
It was humid too.
My mind went to the clouds. They were puffy. I like it. I feel like I just want to touch them.
Wait, puffy big clouds, a lot of wind, and a lot of humidity, too. Is there going to be a tornado?
"Hey, Lindsey," Frank said.
"Yeah?"
"Why have you've been ignoring Gerard?" He asked.
I sighed. No way in hell I am going to tell them why.
"Don't worry, we hate Eliza, too," Ray said.
I jumped by what they said.
"Yeah, you heard him," Frank said with a smirk.
"So tell us what's wrong," Jennifer said.
I sighed. I guess I should tell them.
"Fine. Remember when the ice cream truck came?" I asked.
"Yeah." They all said.
"Well, after Bob had talked to me, Eliza came to me. She rudely asked me to stop talking to Gerard. To get away from him." I said.
"That bitch!" Frank said.
"Dude, I told Gerard she's no good," Ray said.
"So do you have any idea on why she wants you to get away from Gerard?" Jennifer asked.
"Yeah. She's using him for the fame," I said.
"That little bitch," Frank said.
"Don't worry Lindsey, we'll help you guys get back together," Ray said.
"But what if Gerard doesn't want to get back with me?" I asked.
"Trust us, he does," Ray and Frank said.
"So. This is basically how we're going to spend our week," I said.
"We're okay with that," they said.
