Got A Problem With It
Party was still kissing my abs when I pushed him off of me and crawled out of his bed.
"Hey, I was having fun there."
"I want to take a shower, do you guys have running water here?"
"Yeah, the bathroom is across the hall from your room."
"Thanks." I said as I headed over to the door, but when I got there and my hand had reached the knob, I was suddenly full of fear. What if Kobra Kid was in the bathroom or somewhere in that small hallway?
"You okay?" Party asked from behind me, I turned to see he was now fully dressed in new clothes.
"Uh yeah, it's just that....." I trailed off.
"Your afraid Kobra is out there." He finished for me.
I nodded.
"Look," He said as he closed the distance between us, "If we hadn't come up with that stupid test he would have done anything like that or even look at you in that way. He's a good guy, trust me, I know more than anyone."
"I trust you. I just need more time to trust him."
"Okay," He said smiling down at me, then softly kissed me."Come on," He said when he broke away, "I'll show you where the shower is." Then he led me don to the bathroom. Thank god, Kobra wasn't in the hallway or bathroom. He showed me how to work the shower and gave me a towel, "I'll be outside, okay?"
"Okay." Then he left and closed the door behind him, and I locked it just in case.
The hot water running down my back felt really good. It helped me melt away the paranoid feeling I had about Kobra Kid, but not all of it. It also gave me a chance to think about Party and I,and our relationship. If we even are in one, I dont know if we are. He said he likes me and I told him I liked him and we kissed and kinda made out. But what if that's it. Or what if we had something real. I've never been in a relationship before, or even kissed a guy. This was is all so new to me.
What would he think when he out out he was 10 years older than I? Would he be freaked out and not wanna be with me anymore? What if the rest of the guys found out and disapproved of it? Hell, what if Dr.D found out and didn't like it? In the past Dr.D has told me I'm the daughter he never had and would die for me. I knew he also loved the Fabulous Killjoy's but. Damn it this is all so complicated. I'm falling for my mentor, my fucking teacher.
Fuck it. I'm just gonna go for it, for Party Poison.
With that I shut off the water, wrapped the towel around my body, picked up my clothes and walked out of the bathroom. To my shock I saw Party patiently waiting against the wall next to the bathroom door. I forgot he said he was gonna wait for me.
"Well someone took there time." He laughed.
I just stuck my tongue out at him. " Okay, I'm gonna go get dressed now."
"I'll be waiting." He said leaning against the wall again. I was dressed, with my hair brushed in a matter of 10 minutes. Mainly because I wanted to see Party.
But sadly when I rushed out I saw Party wasn't alone, he was talking with the short one, Fun Ghoul. When I came out they both stopped talking at looked at me. Party's eye's lit up to see me and Ghoul had a sad smile on his face.
"Hey kid." Ghoul said.
"Hey Ghoul." I said closing my door behind me, and Party walked over and draped his arm around my shoulders, Ghoul gave him a questioning look and Party respond my pecking my lips. And I laced my fingers through his on the hand that was hanging off my shoulder.
"I'll take it the two of you are a thing now?" Ghoul asked. I stayed silent, not knowing the answer myself.
"Yup, got a problem with it?" Party answered.
"Nope, I'm glad you finally are coming out of your shell and it's been awhile-" Ghoul got cut off by Party punching him in the arm "Ow!"
"Shut the fuck up." Party said.
"Well then, Just be careful, remember what Dr.D said," Then Ghoul turned to me, "I didn't catch your name kid."
"Blue moon." I replied.
"Damn, that's a good one."
"What did Dr.D say?" I asked.
"That you were one of the most important things to him and if anything were to happen to you, he would personally kill us." Ghoul answered.
"Aw how sweet." I said.
"No offense, but why you so important to him?" Party asked.
Because Korse wanted me so badly and Dr.D couldn't figure out why and I was the key to finding that out. Because he would vvisit me in Safe Haven at least once a week. Because I was like his daughter to him.
"I'm just special." I answered.
"Your not his daughter are you?" Party asked.
"Technically no, but he has told me many time's he thinks of me as his."
"Haha, your father-in-law is gonna kill-" Party punched Ghoul again.
"Will you please shut the fuck up." Party said.
"Haha okay," Then Ghoul got serious. "Uh, Kobra wants to apologize in person, he's upstairs with Jet."
As soon as he mentioned Kobra's name my body stiffened. Party felt it and started to rub his hands and my shoulders trying to comfort me.
"Give us a minute, will be up there soon." Party told Ghoul, Ghoul nodded and went upstairs. When he was gone Party walked in front of me and placed both hands on my shoulders and lowered himself so his eyes were directly in front of mine. "He wont hurt you, I promise. And I'll be here with you the entire time, okay?"
"Okay." I said in a small voice.
"Are you ready?"
"Yeah." Then we stated walking up the stairs.
