Chapter 11
Gerard’s POV
I heard the front door close. I was laying in my boxers on my bed. Finishing my recovery from Friday night. It’s easy to lose control but to get back on track…not that much.
“Mikey! Is that you?!” I yelled so he would here me.
There was no answer. Instead he appeared at my door a few seconds later.
“Hey, you feeling better?”
“Much better. Where were you?”
“Oh, I went with Nicole to the mall…”
“To the mall? What for?” he always had to interrupt me. Always.
“To get a job.”
“Oh. So how did it go?”
“Not bad. I start working at Hot Topic as a sales person this Wednesday” I was kind of proud. This was gonna be my first real job. Mom and Dad would be proud, if they were here.
But they’re not.
“That’s great. You better earn as much as possible. Because I deserve to have my car back”
“Deserve? Well excuse me for having to drive and getting us pulled over. It’s not my fault you were DRUNK” I pronounced the last word harshly, meaning to get to him, to hurt him.
He’s the big brother after all. He’s suppose to take care of me, not the other way around.
“I just wanted to give you and your girlfriend some time alone….”
“What? Girlfriend? What are you talking about? And time alone? Please Gee we were in the middle of a concert with thousands of people…” he had no idea what to say at this point of the conversation. Not that he had before. But still I could see that look on his face, that defeated look.
“Forget it. Just let me sleep”
“Sleep? You’ve been ‘sleeping’ all fucking day long!”
“I said let me sleep! Go away!” he threw a pillow at me as he yelled this at me. I decided to let him ‘sleep’ and headed out turning the lights off before closing the door.
Well, was some one a little grouchy today…

Nicole’s POV
I got home a few minutes ago and decided to take a quick shower.
After putting on my Hello Kitty pjs I laid on my bed to think for a while.
I thought about Mikey.
I really felt something for him. Though I’m not quite sure what it is. But I sure like how it feels. I feel happy when I’m with him. It’s like being with my brother. He made me happy and so does Mikey. But I’m feeling something more. Something I hadn’t felt with my brother at all.
I then realized I wanted to hear his voice again. He’s sweet and kind voice. So I grabbed my phone and dialed his number.
“Hello?” aww, even when he says hello he sound so adorable. Ok, what is happening to me? I can’t seem to think about him in non-attractive ways.
“Hi, Mikey”
“Oh, hey Nicole! Miss me already?”
“You wish!” The truth was I did miss him.
“So, what’s up?”
Oh yeah, I had forgotten that. What’s up? What’s up with calling someone you’ve just seen a few minutes ago in the middle of the night?
God, think. Anything.
“Uhh…I was wondering if you wanted….to go to the movies on Wednesday?”
“On Wednesday?”
“Yeah. It would be fun don’t you think?”
“Of course I do. Anything I do with you is fun. Always. But I started working at the mall on Wednesday”
….right.
“Oh, right. But what about after your shift ends? Then you can tell me all about your first day.”
There was a silence on the other side of the line for a few seconds. He must have been thinking about it.
Oh, no. What had I done? I’ve just embarrassed myself with him. It seem like I was just so desperate to be with him.
Well, it actually was like that. But I don’t wanna freak him out by telling him that. I’ve just met him. I for once have a friend. I don’t wanna lose him.
Finally Mikey broke the silence.
“Yeah. That’ll be great. Wednesday it is.”
“Great, I’ll see you tomorrow then at school, bye”
“Ok, can’t wait bye.”
Yeah, neither can I.
