Asleep Or Dead?
No Talking!
I leave Constance and stark walking to detention. I know that this is going to suck! I open the door and see that some other kids in here but Red. Where the hell is he!? Wow hes just going to leave me here. I walk in and Mrs. Lucy comes up to me.
"So where is you friend Leandra?"
"Umm..... I dont know." I say, She gives me a nasty look and pointing me to a seat far from the other people. She walks over to her desk and pulls out her bag from her desk and looking in it trying to find something.
"Im going to the teachers lounge so I can watch my soaps, and if I hear any of you talking next time I will send you to the deans. Do I make my self clear?" She says. Some people nod and others are looking at the back wall. She opens the door and looks back at us one last time and walks out slaming the door. Once shes out of site people shot up out of there desks and walking over to there friend to talk and hangout. I pull out my IPod and put on some music so I can hear anything. Im about a min into the song when I feel a tap on my head. I look up and I see the guy with the red hair. What does her want? I take out my earphones and look up at him.
"Hey what up?" He says sitting down in the seat next to me.
"Well considering that Im in detention and my friend is not here I guess im fine." I say as i set my IPod on my desk and cross my arms.
"Oh well Im sorry about that.Well Im Gerard.Gerard Way." He says holding out his hand. I ook at it and back at him. I give him my hand and wow it feels so warm compaired to mine. I look into his eyes. I never seen them up close. They are a nice hazel. I let go and smile and he smiles back.
"Im Leandra. So umm why did you try to help us out anyway?"
"Well the lady is a bitch and I cant stand her doing that to other people like she did me." I look at him confused.
"What do you mean? Where you held back or something?"
"Well only in this class,not the others." He says. We keep talking about random things and now detention is over. Me and Gerard walk out of the class and going to my locker. I text Constance and she isnt texting back.
"Why in the hell is she not texting me back?" I say about to call her
"Who?" Gerard says
"My bestfriend Constance. She was needing to be close over here but i dont think she is." I say putting the phone to my ear. It talks five rings and thank god she answers!
"Hayyyyyy Leandraaaa WATZ UP!!" She yells in the phone laughing and I hear other people in the back.
"Constance where are you?"
"At that park girlllll you should come! It will be sooo much fun mann."
"Im on my way.."
"KK!! puff tuff my nug!" She says and hangs up. I look at Gerard.
"I think she is high Gerard! At a park! We need to get there fast!" I yell he nods and grabs my hand and we run to the park.
