Mikey:

Well, here goes nothing. I, Michael James Way, am going to ask Ray out on a date. You're going to screw this up, just like you did with your ex-boyfriend, Patrick. Shut up. Make me. I shake the thoughts out of my head and walk over to Ray. He's never been much of a drinker so he's still sober, chatting away with Bob and Allie.

"Hey Ray-Ray? Can we talk in private for a minute?"

"Sure babe, be back in a few guys."

We walked up to our room for more privacy.

"I wanted to ask you something, Ray, willyougoonadatewithme?"

"Slow down, damn, you're sexy when you're nervous."

"O-Okay, um, will you go on a date with me tomorrow?"

"Sure babe, why were you so nervous?"

"Because I didn't think you would say yes..."

"Why wouldn't I say yes?"

"Because I'm ugly, and you're just....beautiful."

"Who said you were ugly? I'mma beat some ass."

"No one said it, even though it's true."

"Mikey."

He lifted my head up with his hand and looked me right in the eye.

"You. Are. Beautiful. Don't ever let anyone tell you otherwise."

He kissed my lips before leaving the room. I followed close behind. When we got downstairs, everyone either left, or they were passed out on the floor. I found Gee and Frankie snuggled up on the couch and I put a blanket on them and looked over to Bob and Allie who were on the floor, snuggled closely, and saw Ray drawing a mustache on Bob's face. Everyone else had left before we came back down so it was just me and Ray who were awake.

"Ray, leave his face alone."

"But Mikey!!! It would make him more macho!"

"A black mustache on a blonde drummer?"

"Hells yeah."

"No Ray, put the sharpie away."

"Fiiiine."

He put the sharpie in his back pocket and started going upstairs. I decided to stay down here and clean up. I cleaned off the table first, finding some condoms on the table. Who the fuck was planning on getting lucky tonight? Probably Pete or Andy. Geez, just not on our table for Christ's sake... I finish up with the table and continue with the rest of the house.

When I'm done, I look at the clock and see that it's 3:15 a.m. Shit, how long was I cleaning? Last time I checked the clock it was 1:15, wow, two hours to clean the house? I should just become a housekeeper at this rate. I finish putting away the cleaning crap and walk up to me and Ray's room.

When I open the door, Ray is laying on the bed, trying to keep his eyes open. When he sees me, he quickly sits up and pats the spot next to him.

"Ray, did you wait up for me?"

He nods his head.

"You could have just gone to sleep babe."

"I know, but I don't like going to bed without knowing you're going to be with me."

"Aww, Ray, I love you, and I will always be there when you go to sleep."

He gives me a big grin and pats the spot again. I change into my batman pajamas and crawl into bed with my Ray-Ray. We cuddle up to each other and fall asleep. Before I fall into my nightly slumber, I hear Ray say three words that always make my heart flutter.

"I love you."

"I love you too."

I have to go to my orientation tomorrow. XP. I don't want to go, but I promise that I will update tomorrow night with a big chapter on Ray and Mikey's date night, in Ray/Mikey POV. I love you!
