(Frank’s point of view)

My ears started working before my eyes. I could hear the distinctive beeping from various machines around me, and then I felt a sharp pain in my head. The beeping grew louder and faster.
Where am I?
I winced, and opened my eyes to Ray looking down at me; his eyes were red and bloodshot.
It was obvious he’d been crying. But I wasn’t sure why.
I opened my mouth to ask, but I couldn’t find the words.
‘Its ok dude, the nurse will be here in a sec,’ he put his hand on my shoulder and smiled weakly, another tear escaped his eye. Why was he so upset? Wait... nurse?
I looked around to find that I was in a hospital. I tried to move my arms but they were dead weights, with various tubes poking out of them. I look to my right and see most of The Used asleep, some were sitting uncomfortably on chairs and some of them were on the floor. Then I see Mikey getting up off the floor and walking over to me.
‘You ok? I’m sorry for being such an ass earlier...’ his voice trailed off and I saw that his eyes were bloodshot too. Why is everyone crying?
I look to my left to see two other beds. Is that Gerard? and...Bert Mccrakken?
And then I remembered. I remembered everything. I heard the beeping get even louder and faster. I started to panic. And my head hurt so much.
‘NURSE!?’ screamed Ray, who had left my side and was running out the room.
‘Shh shh, Frank calm down. Frank. Stay with me.’ Mikey commanded placing his hands on my shoulders.
But I couldn’t listen. I’ve lost control of my body and my mind. I think I blacked out.
