In The Dark, I See You

Chapter 1: Starbucks Accident

Lindsey POV
I wake up to my phone. Ring, ring, ring.
"Hello?" I said sleepily.
"Pack your fucking bags Lindsey! We're going to be on fucking Warped Tour!" Yelled Jimmy.
"No way!" I said now fully awake.
"Fuck yeah we are! We're playing all the fucking shows!" Jimmy said.
"Great. Am I the first person you called?" I said.
"Fuck yeah you are!" Jimmy said.
"Awesome. Do we have band rehearsal then?" I said getting out of bed.
"Yep. How about today at two?" Jimmy said.
"Alright. See you then!" I said and we both said goodbye and hanged up.
Warped Tour, that's the next level. I see what time it is and it's eleven AM. Might as well make myself breakfast and check the other bands who are going to play.
I make myself cereal because I'm that lazy today. I turn on the laptop and check some bands. Avenged Sevenfold were going to be there. Fuck yes! Fall Out Boy, The Early November, Go Jimmy Go, Good Charlotte, Motion City Soundtrack, Rise Against, The Used, Yellowcard, Taking Back Sunday, My Chemical Romance, our band, Simple Plan, and more bands that I'm not even going to name are in the line up.
If it wasn't for the fact that MSI is playing at Warped Tour, then I would of gone as an audience member instead of a band member. I'm actually excited. It's only March, fuck you time!
As I finished my bowl, I went to my closet and picked out my clothes of the day. It really is just a Kiss shirt, light black jacket, black jeans, and combat boots. Then took a shower.
After a hour of practicing before band rehearsal, I went to Starbucks to get coffee.

--------------------

"Lindsey!" call the worker.
"Here," I said and grabbed my coffee.
"Gerard!" call the worker again.
As I turned around, I bump into someone and made me drop my coffee.
"Oh damn!" I said. I quickly get ready to put on a fight, just in case if it's an asshole.
"I'm sorry!" Said a guy who look familiar. He had shoulder-length raven hair, pale skin, taller than me by about a good three or four inches. He grabbed some napkins and started to help me wipe my shirt clean.
"Uh," the guy said knowing things just got awkward. "Here," he said handing me the napkin he was using. "I'll be back." He said and left to the counter.
I sat down and start to wonder where the hell have I seen this guy before. I think I remember seeing him in a show.
That can't be him, Lindsey. This guy has longer hair than the guy you met at the show.
But they have the same face! But wait, if it was him, wouldn't he pointed out that I was Lindsey? Yeah, it can't be him.
I guess I can be wrong. Mom has always told me that about seven people in the world look alike. This guy happens to look like the guy I met at that concert that had given me a rose.
*"Hi!" I said to a guy, maybe two years older than me. He had raven color hair. I had to admit, he looked cute.
"Hey, Lindsey!" The guy said and in comes another guy that looked a little bit like him. Except, this other guy had a light brown hair and was taller and skinnier than the other guy.
I gave them a smile. They asked me to take a picture with them and I did. Then, they asked for an autograph. After the light brown haired guy left to go see Steve, the raven hair guy gave me a rose and left quickly before I said thanks to him*
"Uh so, sorry about that. When they call Gerard, take it. I told the lady already." Said the guy who I guess he mention his name is Gerard.
"It's fine, don't worry. Thanks for the coffee." I said taking my hand out so he can shake it. He gave me a confuse look at first, then he took it and we both shake hands.
"Sorry about that uh..." he said.
"Lindsey."
"Sorry about that, Lindsey," he said his eyes widening a little bit.
"Like I said before, it's fine. I was the one that bumped into you uh..."
"Gerard."
"I was the one that bumped into you, Gerard," I rephrase my sentence.
"No it's my fault, I wasn't careful when you turned around. Anyways, I have to go. Nice to meet you Lindsey." Gerard said with a smile.
"Nice to meet you, too, Gerard," I said with a smile and he left.
"Gerard!" The worker call.
I went up to her and took the coffee. I made sure no one was behind me before I turned around. I sat down and drank my coffee.
I still had my New York habits. When you live in New York, you have to toughen up. They don't give you any sympathy up there. You have to be tough as nails.
I usually had to remind myself I now live in Los Angeles.
I look at the door I walked in and the guy, Gerard, left. I know I've seen him somewhere, it's on the tip of my tongue. It can't be the same guy who gave me the rose, can it? I mean, he had the same face and the fucking height. I think it's just a coincident. Yeah, a coincident.
I finish my coffee and left back home to change shirts. I still had time, so I got out my sketchbook and started to draw a fallen angel. Most people call my art Gothic. Unless if you're really immature and call it 'emo'. Gosh I hated that word. Wait, it's not even a real word dammit! Just a stupid fucking label. Fuck that shit.
I sighed once I finish the fallen angel and lay on my bed and soon fell asleep.
I wake up and it's almost time for rehearsal. I grab my bass guitar and my purse and head out.
I enter a freeway, which was a bad idea. They had cut off two lanes so now everyone was moving to the lanes that were left. I was there for thirty minutes before I got a call.
"Hey Steve!" I said.
"Are you coming Lindsey?" Steve asked.
"Yeah, there just traffic here on the freeway. Two lanes are out so everyone is moving to the ones that are left." I said.
"Was there an accident?" Steve asked.
"I don't know. I pretty sure there was. Why the hell would they close two lanes and cause traffic?" I said with a smile.
"Part of the bridge of those two lanes would of fucking collapse." Steve said.
"You worry too much, Steve." I said.
"Alight. I guess we'll see you in an hour," Steve said and I heard Jennifer play her drums in the background.
"Tell Jenn and Jimmy I said hi," I said.
We both said our goodbyes and hanged up.
I rub my temples and look to the person next to me. The girl, who I'm guessing she's about nineteen or twenty, was applying mascara. I then look to my right and see it's Gerard.
He must've been staring at me because when I looked at him, he waves at me and then turns his attention to the road.
I blushed a little bit. Thank goodness he can't see me blush.
"I'm here! I'm here!" I said running to the room. Jennifer was already prepare and so was Steve. Jimmy was sitting down.
"Slow the fuck down Lindsey," Jimmy said with a smile.
I quickly set up my stuff. I made record of setting my things up. I take about ten minutes.
"So, what songs are we going to be performing?" Jennifer said.
"I have it plan out." Jimmy said. "We're playing Bitches, Harry Truman, Kill The Rock, Planet of the Apes, Step up, Ghetto Blaster, I Hate Jimmy Page, Seven-Eleven, and Faggot from Frankenstein. We'll play Never Wanted To Dance and 1989."
"Sound good to me," I said. We then started playing.

Notes

So not a lot of people write fan fictions of Gee and Lindsey. So I wrote one.
