With each step we took towards my house nervousness built heavier in my stomach. Gerard walked close to me occasionally brushing my hand with his own. I longed for his warmth and comfort, but of course, I couldn't have it. I saw my trailer come into view and choked a bit in fear.
"Its okay." Gerard whispered grabbing my hand and squeezing it reassuringly. He held onto my hand for a long moment so I glance up. I notice him studying me with his pretty, hazel eyes. His eyes locked with mine and we were stuck in a moment of us just looking at each other, and honestly I liked it a lot. He's so beautiful, I can barely stand it. I feel a weird dropping feeling in my chest, my heart skips beats, my head feels slightly dizzy. I'm not sure a what it is, it sounds like a cheesy love story, but it can't be love, even if I did admit to myself I may be gay, Gerard is certainly straight. Gerard opened his mouth to say something, but simply closed it and gave me a sad smile before releasing my hand. I stood frozen in one spot, still trying to understand what just happened. What had he been about to say?
Gerard and I continued to my trailer. The nice warm feeling Gerard had given me, had disappeared. I opened the door cautiously.
"Stay there." I whispered, holding my dad wouldn't hear me. I tip toed to my room, grabbing a pair of jeans and a t-shirt. I was about to grab my sweatpants, when I heard my dad.
"Faggot!" He yelled from his room.
"Yeah!" I squeaked, I know Gerard heard him, and I was so embarrassed I forgot I shouldn't speak to him.
"What the fuck are you doing?" My dad yelled storming into my room.
"I was going to a friends house..." I whispered, damn was I brave today.
"What, were you going to fuck your boyfriends faggot?" He bellowed punching me in the jaw, knocking me into the door frame. I let out a rather loud yelp as I hit the ground. My father was about to kick me when I heard Gerard yelling.
"Get the fuck off of him, or I fucking swear, I will kill you." Gerard growled from the living room. I looked up to see him holding a kitchen knife at my dad. My dad gave a startled look and backed away.
"Look kid, I don't want any trouble." He said putting his "good dad" voice on, he never wanted anyone else to know about his habits.
"Get your things Frank, let's go." Gerard said his voice still laced with hatred. I scrambled over to my bag and threw it over my shoulder. I stood and stumbled over to Gerard, feeling very dizzy. Gerard and I sprinted from the trailer, Gerard didn't put the knife down, he simply slid it into his school bag. After a short while of running, we stop. We were in a old park no one ever went to anymore. I felt extremly dizzy so I sat down on a bench.
"Your head." Gerard whispered as he sat next to me. I touched my head and realized I was bleeding.
"Hes done worse." I whisper, entirely embarrassed by the situation. Gerard looked as if he was about to cry. He gently kissed my cheek. I felt heat explode where his lips had touched. It was as if my heart had exploded, and I loved it, I wanted him to do it again.
"Gee..." I whisper.
"Shh we can talk at my place." Gerard said as he stood up. I stood to and he took my hand in his larger one, as we walked to his house, he didn't let go.
