As soon as I opened the car door I ran into the shelter of an old run-down diner, trying my best not to get soaked in this dreadful rain.
It was quite late so the diner was kinda busy. Now I don't mean busy but there's still 1 or 2 tables free, I mean cram-packed busy, so busy that people are actually having to share chairs. There was 1 seat left, luckily, next to some kid, it doesn't look like he has any friends sitting there so I quickly took my place on the uncomfortable red leather stool, before anyone else could.
“What will you be having then?” The waiter asked the kid next to me, smiling. Obviously a fake smile, why would anyone be happy working in a shit-hole like this when they could be curled up in the warmth of their comfortable bed.
“Hazelnut coffee” The kid replied. I haven't had hazelnut coffee in a while, I think I might get one as well.
“And you?” The waiter was now talking to me with, what looked like, a real smile now.
“The same”
“Two hazelnut coffees. Would you like my number with that?” She reached out and started to fiddle with the collar of my jacket. Is she flirting with me?... I just want coffee.
“Just the coffee” As much as I wanted to swat her hand away like it was an annoying fly, I just gently took her hand away from me. Now I need a way to make her really not like me... Hmm... I could try being a bit of a douche...
“I don't play for your team, besides i'm way out of your league” Half of that is true. I'm gay. Yes, haha, I'm a guy who likes kissing other guys. Deal with it.
I looked at the kid next to me, now just realising he was staring at me. Errm... Yeah. Hey. Quit staring. It's weird... Though he is kinda cute... He has amazingly beautiful hazel eyes and black hair, which,now I notice, is very wet. I guess he got caught in the horrible rain. He has a lip and nose ring, I inwardly shuddered at the thought of needles, but they made him look even cuter.
He seems to be stuck in his own little world.
“Can I help you?” I asked him, not meaning to sound rude, but he probably thinks I'm being rude... Damn it.
“Oh. Errm. No. I.. err.. I just... I just thought I recognised you from somewhere” Haha, I don't think so. Never seen this wonderful beauty before.
“Well you don't” I smiled so I didn't look to much like I was a rude ass-hole. He started blushing a bit then looked down at his hands, I think he's trying to hide it. I couldn't help let out a small smirk, he's just so cute!
