The End And The Beginning
*Many years after war with BLI*
I began singing The Light Behind Your Eyes. As I was singing, I looked around at all of the destruction and the dead bodies. All around me were BLI members, Dracs, Killjoys, family, friends, and what was the MCRmy. Everyone was gone. The last Killjoy that had died was Party Poison. He and Korse had shot at each other at the exact same time. Korse died instantly, while Poison had suffered. I tried so hard to help him. I held him in my arms, crying. The last words he had spoken to me felt like every weapon in the world going through my heart. "I've failed and lost this fight. But you have to keep running. It's my time to join the others in The Black Parade. You need to keep yourself alive. I believe that you can bring color back to this black and white world. Burn bright..." And then he died. I had held him for hours while crying. I didn't even know how to bring color back to this dead world. I was probably the last person even here. These thoughts were running through my head while I continued singing. Once I was done, I took one last look around the area. "Is anyone alive! Anyone at all!" I waited. No response. I walked for miles, asking if anyone was alive, and found no one. My throat was dry and it hurt. I searched bodies for water containers, and found a few. I took the containers and drank the water greedily. I sat on the ground and thought. My whole body was sore. I laid down on the ground and closed my eyes. My family was gone. The people that I had loved ever since I had met them through the internet. Doom, Cellophane, Switchblade, Bullet, Phantom, FreakShow, Lithium, Harmony, Faith, Detonator. I cried again. We had finally met each other and got to live in California, but it was short lived. I was so tired and had cried so hard, I fell asleep immediately. I didn't care if I was on the ground. When I woke up, the sun was hiding behind rain clouds. The scene before me made me feel like I was in the video for Welcome To The Black Parade. I got up and started walking again. I walked for hours until I had come to a diner. It never rained. The sky just remained cloudy. Once I had gone into the diner and got a bit comfortable, it started to pour. Maybe they were all up there, keeping an eye on me. I told them I'd end my days in a hail of bullets with them, but I remained living. I looked out of one of the windows and up to the sky. "I love you guys, but I want to be with you. Why am I still alive?" 'Because you are strong enough to be alive without us. We'll always be in your heart.' It was my family. The guys. I could hear them. Tears came to my eyes. "But I miss you, I NEED you." I put my hand on my ray gun. Bringing it to my head. 'You can do it. You've helped us so much, now we're trying to help you. Remember what you've told us.' The tears were streaming down my cheeks. I was about to pull the trigger, but I was interrupted. "Wait! Don't do it!" I turned around at the male's voice. It was unfamiliar Killjoy. "Who are you? And how are you alive?" I grew suspicious. "Poison told me to stay here. He told me to wait for you. My name's Chemical Hope by the way. Poison said you'd come here. I'm here to help you." I looked at him, he seemed alright. I'd have to trust him. "Okay. How do we bring color back into the world when there's no one left?" Chemical came up to me and held out his hand. "Take my hand, and I'll show you. There are others out there, believe me. We can bring color back into this world, you and I. We're Killjoys, we can help others, and show them our colors." I took his hand, and we set off to paint the world...
