Avril POV: I wake up on the damp ground with Killjoy laying on my stomach. My stomach growls loudly and it wakes Killjoy up. "Breakfast?" I ask.

I raise my bow. My eyes circle the forest several times before we see a small doe prancing in a clearing. It looks so innocent and sweet. Bam! The doe collapses onto the ground, and Killjoy and I charge towards it at full speed. A perfect breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I drag the bag of deer back home with Killjoy by my side. I can't believe I dared fall asleep in the woods yesterday! Killjoy could've gotten hurt! I don't really care about myself so it wouldn't matter, but I put Killjoy in danger!
