It turns out Gerard had tried to come and find me, but Mikey secretly followed him. When they had gotten to the city, Bert, told Gerard that he had killed me and Gerard lost it. He took gasoline from an old gas station and poured buckets of it through the small town. He lit the town on fire as revenge. Then Bert found Gerard and Mikey, then Bob and I showed up. Now I'm snuggled next to Gerard Gerard in his house. I'm exhausted. I love the feeling of being wrapped in Gerards arms.
"I gotta pee." I said standing up out of the bed and heading to the back door. The plumbing doesn't work so we have to go outside. As I'm walking outside I'm surprised to see Mikey out there. He was just standing in the moonlight staring at his arm. Curiously, I crept up behind him to see his arm. I gasp at what I see. A huge bite mark is on his right arm. Mikey spins around with a yelp.
"Frank!" He says in a high pitched voice.
"Mikey, what happened?" I ask him, this can't be happening.
"When I went after Gerard, I got seperated from him, I had to fight off a zombie and.... it bit me." He's in tears now. Mikey knows what's going to happen to him, he's going to become one of the zombies.
"Mikey... listen we have to tell Gee." I tell him touching his shoulder. I'm scared I admit, since it only takes three days for the change to start, but I can't just leave him.
"No! Please just shoot me, don't let me become on of them, please!" Mikeys sobs ring out through the quiet night.
"We have to." I whisper taking his hand. By now he has given up and just follows me.
As we walk into Gerards room I gently call Gerards name.
"Gee?" I whisper.
"Yeah babe?" He says sitting up.
"Im going to tell you something you won't like, now you have to promise you will be calm and won't get angry, alright?"
Gerard looks confused but he nods. I look at Mikey and give him a small nod. Mikey then with shaking hands, shows Gerard his arm. I wait for what Gerard will do. I expect him to yell, and be angry, but he doesnt, he just starts bawling. Mikey starts crying to. It hurts me to see them like this, but I decide I have to let them have their last moments together. I wish Bob was here, but he was out getting guns from a guy named Ray. After about ten minutes the two brothers have stopped crying.
"You have to shoot me, I can't become one of them." Mikey whispers, holding his big brother. I see a wave of emotions crash through Gerards face but he only says one thing.
"I know."
Gerard grabs a gun slowly from his bag, I see uncertainty crash in his eyes.
"Just do it." Mikey cries out. Gerard slowly lifts up the gun, and moves his finger to the trigger, then he just stops.
"I can't do it." Gee whispers.s "Will you do it for me Frank, I trust you to do it."
I want to say no. I don't want to kill Mikey, I care about him a lot and he's so young. I need to do it for Gerard and Mikey both though. We all know Mikey doesn't want to become a zombie.
"Ok." I choke on the word as I grab my pistol and aim it at Mikeys head. " I'm sorry."
"I love you Gerard." Mikey says.
"I love you Mikes." Gerard whispers. And I pull the trigger. I hear the gunshot ring out clearly in the nigh, I hear Gerard scream, then I realize my gun was out of bullets.

I cried writing this, I hate that I killed Mikey, I am a terrible person....
