Sing it for the World
I can't begin to let you know just how i'm feeling
I opened my front door, got a snack and went into my room. I felt like my room was the only place i fit in, it was filled with band posters and some of my art work,along with some zebra print because zebras are my favorite animal. I checked my phone to see if Gerard had texted me,but he didn't i threw my back pack on my bed along with my phone. I went into my moms room but saw a note saying, "Sam i went grocery shopping and to the gym, i'll be home around 9:30 hope u had a great day at school Love mom."
I only lived with my mom because my dad died 2 years ago from cancer. I miss him so much, but i try to stay positive. I go back into my room and open my backpack i get all the papers out that my mom needs to sign for me. I lay down on my bed and look on my phone and see if I got a message from someone, it was Gerard. It said "Hey Sam its Gerard, how was your first day?"
I replied ,"it was fun haha."
I got up with my phone and went downstairs to get some water. My house was quiet so i started singing Face Down which is my favorite song, but i stopped when Gerard texted me. "Do you want a ride to school tomorrow i usually pick up Frank and Ray?" "Sure thanks (:" i texted back.
A few hours passed, me and Gerard just text messaged back and forth. My mom finally came home, "Hey Sam, how was your first day, tell me all about it?" she asked. "Well i ran into a boy and i fell, he picked my stuff up for me, then he showed me where my first class was. We have art and biology together, he asked me if i wanted to sit with him and his friends at lunch so i did. His name is Gerard and his friends' names are Frank Ray and Mikeys his brother. And now hes giving me a ride to school tomorrow, but mom i think i might like him."
"wow, sounds like an awesome first day to me!" my mom answered.
"Yeah, well i'm going to bed goodnight mom." i said
"Goodnight Sam" she responded.
As i walked upstairs i wondered why my mom didn't respond to the part when i said i like Gerard,but oh well i thought maybe she forgot or something. I told Gerard i was going to bed and as soon as my head hit the pillow i fell asleep dreaming of Gerard.
