I rolled over only to hear the annoying buzzing of my alarm clock. I sit up in my bed and look at my clock which reads 5:30. I get up, turn off the alarm and slowly get dressed into some black skinny jeans and a Bullet for my Valentine shirt and slip on my white converse. Ugh the first day at my new school I thought. This should be an interesting day. I walk into my bathroom and brush through my black thin hair and then i do my eyeliner. I run down my stairs and see my mom making waffles my favorite. "Good morning mom."
"Good morning Sam, Are you ready for your first day?" she asks.
"Um yeah i guess, i'm a little nervous though." I reply slowly.
"Well here have some waffles!" she exclaims as she sets them on my plate.
"Thanks" i say taking a bite. "Well I better get going i don't want to be late, thanks for the breakfast mom love you." I say to her walking out the door.
"Your welcome love you to!" she yells behind me.
I start walking down my street to school which is only about 6 minutes away, i started thinking in my mind about what people would think of me and if i would have any friends by the end of the day. My phone buzzed in my pocket and i pulled it out and read the message from my mom saying have a good day. I quickly replied and put my phone back. I arrived at school and got my schedule, great i had math first. I was reading my schedule when all of a sudden BAM i ran into someone and fell onto the black top, my schedule fell out of my hand along with the books i received with it.
" Are you okay?" a boys voice asked.
"I'm so sorry! i didn't see you there!" i exclaimed
"No big deal" he replied.
Then i felt a warm hand grab my arm and help me up, he knelt down and picked up all my books and my schedule. I looked him in the eyes, he was the cutest boy i had ever seen. His eyes were thick with eyeliner and his face pale, "Hi i'm Gerard." he said handing me my things
"Um i'm Sam." i said blushing
"Are you new here?" he asked
"Yeah i'am" i replied smiling
"Well here i'll show you where your first class is." he told me
He took my schedule and looked it over, "hey we have art and biology together!" he exclaimed.
"that's awesome." i answered
It was so cute the way he talked out of the side of his mouth, his black hair went over his face and covered his eyes.
"hey um do you maybe want to sit with me and my friends at lunch?" he asked
"yeah sure!" i said
"okay great,i'll see you at lunch." he said smiling at me
"okay." i said smiling back
The bell rang and we went to our first class.The day went by so fast it was already lunch,i walked by the tables and saw Gerard walking up to me. "hey,we sit over here." he said grabbing my arm and pulling me to the lunch table. "Sam this is Frank,Ray, and my brother Mikey." Gerard said
"yo whats up!" exclaimed Frank, while everyone else waved and smiled at me. We all ate our lunch and talked it turns out we all listen to the same music. The bell rang and lunch was over, i got up and Gerard walked with me to art class. We went to the very back of the room and sat down.We did the same thing in biology class. My first day of school was finally over and as i was leaving campus i saw Gerard running over to me, "hey whats your number i'll text you?" he asked me. I smiled and added my number onto his phone, as i was handing him his phone our hands touched and he felt warm,i felt a spark of electricity when he touched my hand and my cheeks felt hot, quickly he pulled his hand away, "sorry." he said blushing " well i'll text you" he said touching my shoulder and smiling at me.
"bye." I said turning around and waving. As i walked home i thought about my day and how fun it was. Could i really be falling for Gerard? The boy i had just met?
