~Gerard’s P.O.V~
Mikey woke up and I had left to get him a coffee. Not 10 minutes later I come back to see Frank in Mikey's arms crying. Frank has blood on his arm. Gerard: "Holy shit. What happened in here? Are you guys okay?"
I walk up and set down the coffee and feel Franks forehead. Not bad just warm. I walk and get some kinda rag to clean him up.
I take his hand and help him on the bed. I start to clear the blood. It's not a bad cut. I call a nurse in. She doesn't look like any of the nurse's that had taken care of them.maybe she's new. She puts Franks IV's back in. This is weird Frank is never this.. jumpy. Maybe its the pain meds. I stop the nurse before she leaves.
Gerard: "Enough with the loopy medication. Its making him go nuts."
Nurse: "Your going to have to the doctor."
What a bitch. She walks out and shut's the door behind her.
Gerard: "Fuck that."
I slowly pull out the IV. Frank winced but it had to be done.
Gerard: "Its okay Frankie you'll feel back to normal soon." I cradled Frank in my arms and rocking him slowly. Mikey and i drank our coffees. After a minute or two Mikey sat up and looked at me then asked.
Mikey: "So what happened?"
Gerard: "what do you mean?"
Mikey: "the other day. I was stabbed Frank was dragged to the roof. You came in then I wake up here. What the fucks going on?"
Oh um how do I put this. I look down at Frank and he's sleeping.
Gerard: "Well. When I got there you were lying there. I though you were dead. Then you moved. After a lot of whispers you tell me Franks on the roof. I tell Ray and Bob to take you to the car. And head up stairs. Mark and I do some fighting and he ends up going off the roof."
I whispered so I wouldn't wake up Frankie. I skipped some stuff. But hey he doesn't need to know. I lay Frank back on the bed and cover him up. He needs his rest after all he is going home tomorrow.
I sat by Mikey. He looked puzzled.
Gerard: "what are you thinking about Mike's?"
Mikey: "What. Oh. Um. Nothing just that that nurse. I thought I knew her?"
I knew everyone Mikey knew and more. Not once have I ever seen her. I patted Mikey's shoulder.
Gerard: "she'll come to you."
He nods. He opens his arms and I hug him.
Mikey: "How long do I have to be here?"
Gerard: "A few days. Frank can go home tomorrow. But I will be back. I'm going to drop him off make sure he's safe. Then have Bob or Ray watch him and will be up here with you. Okay?"
Mikey: "Yes.."
We sit for hours and them the odd nurse comes in she walks up to Frank and places her hand on his forehead. Frank jumps awake.
Nurse: " How are you Frankie?"
Frankie? Since when did the nurse's call him Frankie. They normally call him Frank or Mr.Iero. somethings not right I walk up to them and sit next to Frank.
Gerard: "He's fine. You can go."
She gives me a dirty look and leaves.
Weird. I got Frank packed up and ready to go. Yes I because Frank just wanted to sit there. Mikey looked at me. I gave him a kiss on his forehead.
Gerard: "I'll be back in the morning."
It was already dark out side.
Mikey: "okay"
Gerard: "If you need anything just call and ill be here faster then ever."
He giggled.
Mikey: "okay. Now go. Take Frank home he looks tired."
I look at Frank falling asleep as we speak. Man he must be sick. Damn it not again.
Gerard: "yeah your right."
I pull Franks hand up and help him to his feet.
Gerard: "come on Frankie. Lets go."
Frankie: "bye mokie."
I laugh and pull him to the door.
Gerard: " see you later mikes. Love ya."
Mikey: "love ya to. bye guys."
Frank: "ya love ya Mikes."
As we leave I hear Mikey's giggle
and i smile. We head to the elevator.
Frank: "Da ellevators brokedda did. Gee."
Gerard: "Oh Frankie, its not broken silly."
He latches on to my arm as we step in. Once in the lobby he looks up at me.
Frank: "I love you Gee."
Gerard: "and I love you Frankie."
He closes his eyes as we walk. He then stops mid walk.
Frank: "Gee?"
He looks upset.
Gerard: "yes Frankie?"
Frank: "Gee, is he really gone?"
I turned to him and looked him in the eyes.
Gerard: "he is. And if he's not I won't let him take you again."
He smiles and I hug him.
We walk out in to the surprisingly cold April air. I open Franks door and help him in then help him buckle his seat belt. He then drive home and I help him inside.
Frank: "home."
I laugh. He smiles.
Gerard: "yeah home. Now lets get you to bed."
He wrapped his arms around my neck and wouldn't move.
Gerard: "come on Frankie, Let go."
Frank: "Nope,carry me."
I sigh.
Gerard: "Fine."
I pick him up In my arms and carry him up the stairs and sat him on the bed. Then walk to the bathroom. Grab the cold medicine. He's going to need this. I walk back and he's sitting up.
Gerard: "Frankie lay down. Here I got you some cold medicine."
He shakes his head. What's up with him.
Gerard: "Frankie. Come on take some cold medicine. It will make you feel better."
He looks down. Then he takes to bottle and drinks half before I grab the bottle from him.
Gerard: "Frankie! what the fuck?"
He shrugs his shoulders and lays down.
Frank: "lay with me?"
I get in bed with him. What's up with him. I lay my arm around him.
Frank: "Gerard do you love me?"
Gerard: "of course. Why?"
Frank: "how far would you go for me?"
Gerard: " I killed a man to save you Frank. I love you more than anything."
Frank: "then kiss me."
I grab his shoulders and kiss him. A long deep and passionate on to be exact. We lay there and sleep. I wondering what was going on with him.
