Chapter 4 The Letter
I woke up with red liquid dripping down my face, bluring my vision. I groaned and used my shirt to wipe off the blood from my face. I slowely stood up and brushed the dirt off my clothes. I took my time walking out of the cemetary and towards the old apartments by the liquir store. I doubted that Frank still lived there after 5 years but it was worth a try.
I tripped a few times on the sidewalk, I was still trying to get used to these long legs. I walked up to the apartments and quietly walked towards the back of the complex. I saw the same aparment, but in my eyes 5 years younger. I took the stairs two at a time, and knocked on the door. i patiently waited till a small man about a foot shorter than me in a bathrobe squinting, looked up at me.
"Who the fuck are you?" The short man asked.
"I'm sorry to desturbe you sire, my names Gerard but I was looking for a guy named Frank, does he live here?" i asked biting my lip.
"The short fella? Frank Iero? he lived here before me, 4 years ago. He old me to give this letter to a guy names Gerard. But his description was much different... medium shaggy black hair, artsy.. thats not you." The man said.
"May I see this letter? I've recently gotten my hair changed, I wear contacts, and my shoes have platforms in them..." I said making stuff up on the spot.
The man shrugged and walked away, coming back with a white envelope that said, in cursive, Gerard Way. The man handed me the envelope, I took it carfully in my hands. When the man shut the door, I sat on the stairs and ripped the envelope open. I stared at the page, it was instructions.
"Gerard, my love
First I want you to know I will always love you no matter what, second of all, I need you to follow these instructions. It's where I am and how to reach me.

2. 2764 Red Water rd, New York (mind you I live in the countryside)
3. I love you
4. If there are 2 cars in the driveway meet me at the corner store, at 8pm sharp
5. If not go knock on the door (the back door)
Last of all beware Sparky my boxer, he's probably all grown up now. He likes to jump..

I stared at the page before quickly standing. I heard someone clear thier throat, so I promptly turned around. Guess who?!
Mikey stood in an open doorway with his arms wrapped around himself. I threw my arms open wide and smiled.
"Brother..."I breathed out, as he threw himself into my open arms. I could feel he was crying, for my shoulder was starting to whetten.
"But....How?" Mikey asked trying to supress tears.
"God likes me...It wasn't my time, they gave me two options. I could go to purgetory or come back and be with Frank...I saw how much you both missed me, especially you..." I said as I strocked Mikeys blonde and brown hair gently.
"Mikes..You got lasik... nice, bro..." I said with a small smile, looking down at him. Mikey nodded without looking up at me.
"Do you want me to go with you, to go see Frank?" Mikey asked looking up at me. I nodded.
"That'd be great, Mikes.....Love you brother.."
"I love you too, Gee.. You wonna wait till morning, so you can sleep and shower and stuff?" Mikey asked blinking. I wipped the tears off his cheeks and nodded.
"Sure, Mikes. I wouldn't mind looking at this new body some more...." I replied with a giggle. Mikey shook his head and led me into his apartment.
"I sold the house about a year after you died. I packed all of our stuff, all your stuff including your old bed is in the other bedroom. I almost never go in there except when I need a hug..." Mikey said sniffling.
"Awww, Mikes..." I said hugging him tightly, before kissing his forhead. Mikey smiled before showing me the bathroom. I thanked him and shut the door, getting in the shower.
