While we were dancing I could see Ray smiling at me from across the gym. When the song was over, we broke apart, before I could head off to the bathroom he stopped me. “There's something I need to tell you.” Mikey smiled at me as he took my hand and lead me outside.
The words still hung in the air as Mikey was leading me through the crowded gym full of couples dancing, girls gossiping, and loners. We got out of the gym and left the building. The cool fall afternoon air hit me as we went towards the car.
“So what did you want to tell me Mikey?” I asked curiously, I was dying to know... He just smiled and blushed deeply. “What?” I giggled “Come on!” Mikey blushed even more and stuttered “I um..” “You what?” I laughed patting him on the shoulder.
He pulled me into a gentle kiss all that was going through my mind was holy crap I'm kissing Mikey Way... His soft lips felt hot against my cold ones. We pulled apart and he smiled at me, I smiled back. I tried not to fangirl sequel. It was hard not too. “So, does that answer your question?” Mikey smirked at me. “I guess so.” I laughed, relieved it wasn't a 'lets stay friends' ending.
We kissed again his soft lips brushing up against my rough ones. We kissed passionately against the car. It felt magical! “MICHAEL JAMES WAY!” a voice called. Startled Mikey and I stopped kissing, out of know where Gerard walks up to us. “Gurl, no public displays of affection at school.” He laughed imitating a sassy teacher voice. He was the sass master after all.
“Jesus Christ Gerard!” Mikey smiled relieved “You scared me!” “Well, it was frightening to see my baby brother spit swapping with a girl.” Gerard winked. Mikey blushed “Hey Ray! Your cousin is making out with my brother.” He continued. Mikey and I looked at each other and exchanged a giggle.
A couple seconds later, a laughing Ray appears from the bushes around the parking lot. “Aww, your baby bro, looks so cute with my baby cousin.” I jokingly narrowed my eyes at him, “Dude were like the same age!”
“Come one lover boy and girl lets get back to that dance!” Ray said running towards the school. We followed him, Mikey and I looked at each other once again, and I pulled him into another kiss, “Lets go.” He smiled taking my hand.
Mikey, Ray, Frank, Gerard and I danced the night away. I was so glad to have friends like them. I came here thinking this year was going to suck, but look what happened. This was actually the most happy I've felt in years. Sure the music was bad, the lighting was off, but did that matter if I was with my friends? No, it didn't. I love them.
Another slow song played, and Mikey came up to me. “May I have this dance?” He asked trying not to laugh. “Sure!” I laughed we danced again and had so much fun. He looked into my eyes and I looked into his he pecked me on the lips. “Should we..?” He asked. “What?” I said confused. “I know it sounds so soon.. But do you want to like be my girlfriend.” I smiled and kissed him softly. “Does that answer your question?”
