A New Start

Gerard's POV
I walked next to Mikey on our way home from school. I wanted to stop by Starbucks but I don't have money on me. As soon as I walked through the door I went straight to the kitchen for coffee, I made a few extra cups for Mikey and Frank. I walked into the living room and set the cups on the table. Mikey was setting up a zombie game when someone knocked on the door.
I opened it to let Frank inside, he just greeted me with over enthusiastic smile. I rolled my eyes but smiled with him.

Throughout the time Frank was here he kept talking about random shit, it was distracting when I was trying to kill him and a bunch of zombies following me (in the game). After we got done playing the game he continued talking. I regret giving him coffee, he obviously didn't need it. I stopped paying attention to what he was saying and only heard a buzz when he talked, which was still as annoying.
My mom got home in time to fix us dinner but she had to get right back to the hospital once she was done. So after dinner we were allowed to do whatever we wanted. Frank decided to make me drive him to Bob's house. I don't know what drugs that kid was on, but I will eventually find his stash.
We pulled up to Bob's house and he looked as freaked out about Frank's sudden energy as Mikey and I were. He asked Frank why he was so hyper.
"I didn't sleep last night so I drank a lot of coffee to stay up." He explained.
Bob and I left Mikey and Frank alone to watch TV while we walked outside to smoke. We just talked about stuff like music and our hatred for school. It got quiet after a while. I've just been blankly, staring at the ground so I looked up finally to see Bob staring at something. I turned my head to see a small girl carrying boxes into a house, almost a block away. She looked like she was in highschool but she was shorter than Frank, and not a lot of people are shorter than him.
She had long black and blonde hair, I couldn't see her very well though, the sky was too dark.
"Who's she?" I finally asked Bob.
"Umm.. I'm not sure but I think I know her.." He answered slowly.

Bob's POV
I glanced up to see a pretty girl carrying boxes into her house from a small black car. I blinked a few times when I saw her face. A bright, hazel eyed little girl popped into my head. I didn't remember the rest of her face though, and I could barely see in the dark. I was trying to think of where I knew her. The last time I had a girl as a friend, and not a girlfriend was when I was really little. She didn't look too much like the girl on the next block though, I remembered I hung out with her and played with her whenever Gerard or Ray went to watch cartoons and read comics. She was a bright little girl, yet the girl I was staring at was dark, she had black everything except her blonde hair, which was even streaked black, and her white T-shirt.
"Who's she?" Gerard asked pulling me out of my trans.
"Umm.. I'm not sure but I think I know her.." I stammered quietly. She walked back out for another box and I saw her look up at me, black all around her eyes. I wonder what happened to her. I stomped out my cigarette and walked over, after assuring Gerard I'll be back and to wait there. She leaned against the car, the closer I got the more familiar she looked.
"uh..hi." She shyly mumbled when I reached her. She looked up at me with big, sad, hazel eyes. This was the same girl I knew as a kid. I smiled and greeted her with a "hey"
"You need help with that?" I finally asked, gesturing to the car.
"Um, sure if you want.." She said quietly opening the back passenger door to the vehicle. I grabbed a few boxes and brought them inside with her following silently carrying bags of what I assumed to be clothes. The house was dark and cold, it felt like death in there. I placed the boxes next to some lying next to a big sofa.
I saw Gerard and Frank walking towards us when we walked back outside to grab the last of the boxes. I also notice the girl tense up next to me with ever step they took.
"Hey, nice shirt." Was the first thing Gerard said to her, gesturing to her Misfits shirt. She blushed and looked at the ground mumbling a shy 'thanks'.
"I'm Gerard, this is Frank, and you've obviously already met Bob." He didn't hold his hand out, which was a good move, she looked like a scared animal.
"I'm Katy." she said. Realization struck me like a ton of bricks, this was definitely the same little girl I knew... or at least it was her face and her name, she looked like a hollowed out shell, as if someone broke her. I grabbed the last boxes and placed them in her house. She thanked me as I left.

Frank's POV
I got bored searching for a horror movie on the TV and walked outside to possibly steal someone's cigarette but when I walked outside Gerard was the only one standing by the door.
"Bob's over there flirting." Gerard said grinning. I smirked and started walking over to where I saw Bob's tall figure wonder out of the dark home, Gerard following closely behind.
The small, beautiful girl behind Bob made me freeze. She had blonde hair with black streaks, and I think I saw a small lip ring glimmer in the dull street light. She had a white misfits T shirt on and black skinny jeans, with a pair of black converse. Her hazel eyes were smudged with eye liner. Was she crying? Gerard complimented her shirt and she blushed. With her size, her big hazel eyes looking up at us, and her shyness was just so adorable. She still looked miserable though, I wanted to help but I didn't know her.
"I'm Katy." She said shyly, I smiled. well now I know her name at least. I missed Gerard introducing us, but I just ignored everything he says when he's talking. Bob awkwardly grabbed a few boxes from the car and walked to the house, she followed with the last box and an old bag. With that, she thanked Bob and we went back to Bob's place. We didn't really talk about her much but I couldn't stop thinking about her.

Katy's POV
Stopped crying and started the car. It was getting late and I need to get to the house. I drove for hours, soon stopping at an old house. It wasn't that bad, I guess. I got out and opened the passenger door, grabbing the box and bag my mother gave me. I slowly walked up the path and opened the door. the lights still didn't work and I could only see a few feet in front of me. I found my way to a big couch and placed the box next to it. I took a few more trips back to the car to grab boxes. When I walked back outside again I felt eyes on me, I turned around to see two boys, older than me, watching me. The blonde boy stomped on his cigarette and walked towards me. My stomach dropped. What does he want? I don't have money or anything for him he's better off mugging my parents.
He stopped a few feet away and smiled at me. I shyly greeted him as I leaned back against my car. "You need help with that?" He asked. I got off the car and told him 'yes'. He helped me bring all my boxes inside, it would've taken all night if I did this alone so I was thankful for him. We only had a few more boxes left when two boys walked towards us. I got nervous again, these boys could kill me if they needed to.
One with bright red hair and the other with black hair, cut at the sides, and the center left his hair long. From what I could vaguely see, he had a nose piercing and a lip ring. He wore a plain white T shirt under a red and black jacket, with tight, grey jeans. The red haired boy wore a black T shirt with a black leather jacket.
"Nice shirt." The red haired boy complimented my misfits shirt. I instinctively looked down and blushed.
"thanks." I mumbled
I heard the red haired boy introduce them as Frank, the black haired boy, Gerard, the red haired boy, and Bob, the blonde boy helping me. I notice I remember people by there hair, weird huh?
"I'm Katy." I quietly said, I saw Frank smile and I blushed again. Bob grabbed the last of the boxes and took them inside, I followed silently with my bag and another box. I thanked Bob as they left. As soon as they were out of sight, I walked to the car and grabbed my phone and the folded slip of paper my mother had given me, along with the car keys.
I walked inside and noticed there was something inside of the paper. with the light of my phone, I sat down on the couch and opened it. Taped to the inside of the paper was $50. the paper under it said...
~"This should keep you fed until you can find a job. Just don't come asking for more."
I smiled and slipped the money into my pocket. I didn't want to waste it, especially since I have nothing to cook with, considering the electric wasn't on yet. I'll just wait until tomorrow, it's only Friday, after all. I lied down and rested my head on the small duffel bag and fell asleep.

Notes

sorry there are so Many POV's I'm just trying to cover all the bases before I start the interesting parts. :)
I'm also going to change the ages of the characters like ray and mikey so their young enough to still go to high school. So poor Frankie isn't all alone.
And please feel free to comment, I'd love to hear your opinions about this story.
I love all you beautiful people!
