Gerard POV: "now will you let me carry you down to the office?" I ask. Her face straightens. "Hell no!" Is her immediate response. "Do you want to go to the nurse?" I ask and she shakes her head stubbornly. "Fine, do you want to go back to class?" I try. She has a long pause before shaking her head even harder. "Don't talk much, do you?" I ask staring into her sad eyes. She shakes her head yet again. "Please come back to class." I beg. "Fine." She whispers.
"now class what we-" mrs nemeth begins. "Oh...you two. Anyway for the project we will be getting journals. In these journals we will log our whole days. We will be getting partners and when we have completely filled these journals we will exchange them and see what we can learn about our partners. Come see me at the end of class for your partners." Mrs. Nemeth concludes.

"Gerard, you and Ivy will be partners for this project."
