You KnowThe Games I Play And The Words I Say When I Want My Own Way
Mikey
This was perfect. Down to every single last detail, it was perfect.
“You can?” he asked, wide eyed.
“For something in return of course,” I answered, not bothering to conceal the smirk on my face.
“What do you want?” he asked quietly.
“You’re going to tell me everything,” I told him. “And everything I ever need to know.”
“But-”
“Really? Really Frank? You’re going to turn down what I can give you for nothing? I’m asking for such a small thing,” I murmured persuasively.
“It’s not right. It’s not fair on Gerard, he wouldn’t want me to do this,” Frank insisted, stumbling over his words slightly.
“This isn’t about him,” I told him gently. “This is about you Frank. What you want, not him.”
“I don’t want to hurt him,” Frank retorted firmly.
“You won’t. This won’t hurt him Frank. Once you’ve changed he’ll realise what a good thing it is, for both of you,” I insisted. “And all I want in return, is to know what’s going on with him. Is it really that much Frank? I can make it all happen, I can make you his equal, just for a teeny little bit of information.”
“I… I don’t know. It still doesn’t feel right…”
“It will do,” I murmured.
He was silent for a while before sucking in a deep breath and looking down. He nodded very slowly and a smile spread across my face again. Weak. He was so weak. But it wasn’t his fault. I knew how persuasive I was.
“I don’t know,” he mumbled, wavering.
“Frank,” I said smoothly, “think about it. You’ll get what you want and it won’t hurt anyone.”
“But I can’t tell you about what Gerard was doing!” he protested, his voice rising in frustration.
“I just care about my brother. I wouldn’t want him to be in danger. Someone has to keep an eye on him Frank. He gets all of these ideas in his head and ends up doing stupid things. The least I can do is to look out for him. And you’d be helping me Frank, I promise. Gerard is… like a child sometimes. What he wants isn’t realistic and you just have to play along, but make sure he doesn’t do anything stupid. Do you understand Frank?”
He frowned. “Gerard isn’t like a child. He knows what he’s doing.”
“You saw for yourself what he did tonight. He ran into the fire. Is that really rational Frank?” I asked, starting to panic slightly. What if he wasn’t really all that easy to convince?
He sighed. “I still don’t… it doesn’t feel right, it’s not what he wants and I feel like-”
“It’s not about what he wants. It’s about what you want. And what you want isn’t going to hurt him Frank, I promise.”
“But I still feel like I’m betraying him.”
“You’re not,” I said firmly. “Look Frank, nobody is ever going to make you this offer again, no one. Not even Gerard. This is your only chance and if you really feel as strongly for Gerard as you say you do, you’ll take this chance. Because it’s the only one you’ll get. After this Frank, the opportunity to be with Gerard forever will be gone. Is that what you want?”
“No, but…”
I waited but he didn’t speak again. I stood up and walked over to him.
“Stand up.”
He stood slowly, watching me warily, as if I was about to throw him across the room. I could feel the fear and dread radiating off of him, but underneath the heavy, murky haze of terror was excitement, his eyes sparkling with the curiosity of the unknown. It called him and it was clear in his eyes how strong he felt a pull towards it. It was also clear to see that he was letting himself get swept up into it.
I leant close to him, smirking when he shivered and his breath caught in his throat, ever so slightly leaning back from me out of instinct. I leant towards his ear, my breath hitting his skin.
“Just tell me Frank and it’ll all be OK,” I whispered gently, feeling the rush of confidence and power through my body when he let out a little defeated sigh.
“Gerard wanted to form an alliance with Ryan. He wants… he said when he’s King, he wants to join forces with all the other species and make a pact with them,” Frank said heavily, his breathing getting laboured as my hands encircled his wrists.
“What sort of an alliance?” I asked, brushing my lips over his earlobe. “You can tell me, it’s OK.”
“He wants a King for the ghosts and the werewolves and the humans. He wants to rule with three other Kings,” Frank said shakily, swaying slightly in my grip.
“Anything else?” I asked.
“N-no,” he breathed.
I smiled to myself, humming in satisfaction. “Good boy.”
He drew in a shaky breath and turned his head to slowly look at me, his Adam’s apple moving thickly in his throat as he swallowed. “I told you. I told you what you wanted, now you have to-”
I silenced him by pressing my mouth over his, chuckling when he let out a gasp of shock, his lips parting. I took the chance to push my tongue in, flicking it over his own tongue and against the roof of his mouth. He squirmed and made a horrified noise, but I kept a tight grip on him.
I pulled back and he tried to break free, tugging desperately to break the hold I had on his wrists. I jerked his body forwards, yanking him towards me by his wrists, his body slamming into mine.
“Don’t kiss me!” he pleaded, still struggling uselessly.
I shoved him backwards and he fell into the chair he’d been sat on. I swung my legs around him to straddle him to the chair and pin him down.
“Mikey, please, I-”
I placed a finger against his lips, shutting him up. “I’m sorry. It seems like I can’t keep my hands to myself when it comes to you…”
He just swallowed and looked at me in fear.
“I have to admit I’ve been quite jealous of my brother,” I whispered in his ear, trailing a finger down his chest. “It doesn’t seem fair that he gets such a pretty little thing like you and keeps you all to himself. I bet you’re pretty obedient, aren’t you Frank?”
I looked at him to see this realisation spreading across his face. He thought he was going to get raped.
I smirked.
“He can’t treat like I can Frankie,” I murmured. “He can’t make you feel like I could. I bet he won’t even touch you. He won’t do anything with you, will he?”
“That’s nothing to do with you!” he hissed. “You don’t know anything about us!”
“I’m right aren’t I?” I chuckled. “You want to change because you think he’ll fuck when you’re like him. I bet he told you he wouldn’t do anything with you because you’re human. What a shame.”
“Don’t, don’t do this Mikey,” he begged, wriggling around underneath, pointlessly trying to escape.
“I wouldn’t do that Frank. I wouldn’t ever say no to such an adorable thing like you. I would give you what you want. He doesn’t even love you Frank, he’s lying. He won’t do anything with you because he doesn’t love you.”
“Yes he does! Shut up!”
“Ssh,” I whispered. “Don’t worry. I’ll make it better Frank. I’ll give you what you want. You’ve been very helpful.”
He began to speak again but I lowered my face to his throat and kissed his thumping pulse gently.
“Just relax,” I breathed. “I’ll make it all better.”
I felt my teeth and gums morphing and moulding to fit my fangs as my incisors changed, lengthening and sharpening. I opened my mouth wider and grazed my fangs over his neck before sinking them in with ease, holding him to the chair in a vice grip as he let out a sharp yelp, groaning in pain. I sucked up his thick, sweet blood, moaning at the taste. I drank a little more than I should’ve before I pulled away licking at his neck before biting into my own wrist.
The blood spurted from my veins flowed down steadily. I placed my wrist to his lips and he began to drink whilst my other hand came up to cradle his head.
“Good boy,” I murmured, stroking his hair. “Such a good boy.”
He pulled away, his pale face smeared with my blood and his eyes hazy and his eyelids drooping. He looked up at me with heavy eyes, breathing heavily.
“Thank-you,” he murmured hoarsely.
I just wiped away the blood on his chin and around his mouth swooping down to lick away the last drops of blood on his neck.
“M’tired Mikey,” he mumbled, his eyes slipping closed.
“Of course you are,” I said softly. “Just go to sleep Frank.”
“’Kay,” he slurred.
I got off of him and let him slump to the side. I sighed and positioned him into a lying position on the couch. His breathing changed, becoming slow, steady measured breaths. I just smiled to myself, turning around to walk over to the mirror placed on the wall, removing the rest of the blood on my face.
“Mikey, you really are too good,” I told myself, grinning manically. “Too good.”
This was perfect. Down to every single last detail, it was perfect.
