"No. Please Frankie." Gerard said... great. since when did we become friends? "i insist. You need it. i dont." i could hear sincereity in his voice. "Please."
"I'm sorry Gerard, but i can't. i can't take from you.,.'
"Then think of it as a gift." he finally said handing me it.
I put it on and smiled. "Thank you." he smiled and nodded.
"Wanna go to starbucks or something?" he asked.
"Sure, but i'll pay." i luaghed slightly. God Gerard was so nice, nothing like the boy who scoffed at me saying hello. He smiled and we started walking, after i picked up my latin book and placed in my little box home.
"So. how come you live in a..." he trailed off.
"A box?" i asked and he blushed.
"No not was i was gona say!!!"
"I dont care, i live there because i cant stand my aunt and uncle. its there fault im like this. they've beaten me since i was freking 3 years old. so i ran away." i laughed cruelly. One day they'd pay for what they dd to me... and what they did to my sister... may she rest in peace.
"Oh. Ok." he shrugged as we walked into starbuks.
"HEY Gerard!" i heard someone call his name."What are you doing with that freak?!" it was one of the boys who beat me up. He was tall. with dark curly hair, blue eyes and a CKY shirt on.
"Whats he doing wearing your jacket?!" another said. He had the normal "scene hair" he was blonde with baby blue eyes and softly freckeled skin. I'd seen him around Gerard before. I looked at Gerard in confusin.
"Here." i muttered handing him a twenty dollar bill... dammit my food money for the month. "You shouldn't be seen around me... i'll go." i muttered so that only Gerard could hear. then i walked away, out of starbucks and back to my little box house. i sat down outside of it and grabbed my latin book. i tried to study again. it was a little bit easier not that i was warm and had a nice jacket. It smelled like him. Likw Gee. thats it, thats what i'll call him. he had such a comforting smell, like fresh baked cookies, or a bbq with friends.... i'd never had that experience. i threw the book as words started waltzing off the page yet again. i couldnt take it anymore! i decided i'd drop out of highschool... I couldn't stand the pain of bullying, of trying to read, of the teachers taunting me and wanting to speak to my gaurdians.
"I'M DONE WITH THIS BULLSH*T!" i suddenly screamed, surprising myself. And with that i grabbed my pocket knife and ran to my aunts house. She opened the door smiling. i couldn't take it as soon as i entered the house i grabbed her by the neck and squeezed as hard as i could. she started struggling.
She was kicking and struggling to scream. with my one free hand i pinched her nose and covered her mouth. Once she was still and her breathing slowed, i slit her throat. After i did s. i realized the horror of that i had done. there would be no evedence of foul play, seeing as i was wearing snow gloves and she wasn't a creepy person who had hidden cameras in their house. so i washed the knife and put it in my pocket and walked back into the living room and screamed. i ran to a phone and dialed 911.
"911 Whats your emergency?"
"I-i had been abused by my aunt and ran away... but that was two-two y-years ago and i came home today to find her strangled to death with her throat slit! pl-please send help quick!!!" i was feigning tears. This was just the begining... but what was worse was what i felt inside when i was with Gerard. NO! I am straight. absolutely. i cant be falling for guy!
