Frank's POV: (While Mikey and Ray are talking)
"Frankie! Will you quit splashing me!" Mary squealed as I pushed some cold creek water at her
"Make me" I laughed
Mary flicked her damp black hair out of her flawless face, her catching blue eyes turned into a death glare as I laughed at her angry face
"Stop laughing at me!" she shouted
"Fine, I'm sorry" I frowned giving her puppy eyes
she crossed her arms before giving me a hug and saying
"You're too cute to be mad at Frankie, stop being cute!"
We giggled before I helped her out of the creek, I brought her over to our picnic and started going through the basket
"Okay, we have two ham sandwiches and two bananas, will that be good?"
"That'll be fine Frankie"
I gave her a sandwich and a banana, we started eating and when I finished. I heard a crack of thunder
"Oh boo" Mary pouted sadly
"Don't worry Mary dear, we'll make it back home"
she smiled and I grabbed her hand, we ran along jumping over the creek. It was starting to rain, I quickly gave my red hoodie to Mary and made sure she was all warm and cozy inside
"Frankie, you don't always have to be such a gentleman" she blushed
"Why can't I be a gentleman?"
"I don't know, I haven't found a reason for you not to be"
We reached the little wooden cabin in a few minutes after that, when I opened the door, that's when I heard the cackle
"Frankie, what's that?" Mary asked frightened
"I don't know, Mary, please let's get inside"
Mary nodded and we walked into the warm cabin, I turned and double-locked the door. Mary didn't know what was out there, but I did and trust me, that was a horrifying thing. I turned again to see Mary frozen
"What's wrong Mary?" I asked worried
"Yes what's wrong Mary?" An all too familiar voice sang
I turned again to see him, that horrid beast who once seemed like such a nice person. The beast, I could never call him a man again, had raven black hair that ruffled by the ears and eyes that seemed green far away but actually had hazel speckles that made his eyes look like gold. His name was Gerard, but for as long as I can remember, I've called him Monster
"Frank? Who's that?" Mary asked timidly
"You didn't tell her who I was Frankie? That makes my day a sad day" he said with a fake pouty face
Gerard stalked up to Mary and got way too close to her face, he stroked his thumb over her cheek. Gerard turned and smiled at me
"You've certainly got a beauty here, Frankie. Mind if I borrow her?" he asked sickenly
I felt all the color drain from my face, I didn't want him to take Mary. Mary was my only friend
"NO!" I screeched
I grabbed Gerard's throat and lifted him as high as I could,
"Mikey!" I heard an unfamiliar voice shout
I blinked and the cabin was gone, I was back in that dream where everything was gray and dark. I looked at what I was holding, it was a man with glasses who I assumed was Mikey. I put him down and he choked on the air
"Sorry sir, I didn't mean to" I mumbled
Mikey looked awestruck, but then simply replied
"Next time Frank, try not to kill me"
I smiled and nodded
"Okay"
