Shes going to be in shit, isn't she? I remembered. For defending me, instead of joining her friends, I can't have that be my fault, she was nice and took the rath of those monsters, okay that was dramatic but that is pretty much what they all are, certainly not human! But jess? She is human, a sweet, pretty girl human, who I like? Well as a friend, I barely know her! But her class, they will destroy her because the shit head Gerard can't defend himself, he has to have the help of a girl. Well I won't let them hurt her, and when I get out of here, they will know that for sure.

Jess' P.O.V
Home now, finally! It's been a long ass day, now I can just fix my eyes on the television and forget the whole world exists... Until mum comes home.
"Can you help me with my homework?" Leyah asks, she seemed to appear from no where.
"not now, maybe later. I've had a rough day, what subject?" I told her
"ummm.. French" she said, unlucky for her, I'm failing French!
"Leyah! You know I'm crap at French"
"you can't say that word!"
"oh what word? Crap, shut the fuck up Leyah" I said, emphasise on the fuck .
"jess, why are you swearing all of a sudden, your not normally like this"
"and your not normally this annoying...look Leyah I said already, I have had a rough day, now if you don't mind could I please have five minutes peace? Or is that too much to ask?"
"fine" Leyah muttered, and with that she turned around swishing her curly brown pig tales, and left the room.
Finally, I thought.
*knock knock*
"ah shit!" I thought
"Mums home! Leyah could you let her in please?" I called to Leyah, from the bottom of the stairs.
Leah ran to the door and opened it, giving out mum a big hug, Leyah picked up mums shopping bags and carried them to the kitchen, suck up, I thought. Well if I wanted to go out tomorrow I might as well 'help out'.
"How was your day mum?" I asked
"stressful" she answered "do you know how many people don't have jobs? Too many, and I have to find them jobs, now what job can you get with no qualifications? Not a good one and that's for sure, but Mr Johnny definitely disagrees with that..." She went on.. I tuned out after the second sentence
"don't you ever leave school without qualifications missy!" mum pointed her finger at me.
"oh but mum, I was planning on leaving school next week" I replied sarcastically.

Although mum was home now, and I was suppose to be listening to her go on about work if I wanted to go out tomorrow, I couldn't stop thinking of Gerard. His long, tangly black hair, messy but cute, I loved his smile as well, it was welcoming but wasn't too toothy, Oh Gerard Way...

"SNAP OUT OF IT" Leyah shouted clicking her fingers in front of my eyes.
"go away lee..." I snapped, it must have been obvious that I was daydreaming.
"I bet you're thinking of a boy" she whispered in my ear so mum couldn't hear
I could feel myself blushing... "None of your business..." I assured her
"i knew it" she sniggered
"knew what Leeleebear?" Mum asked Leyah, her favourite daughter.
"nothing" Leyah and I answered at the same time
"okay then, that's suspicious, Leyah come here and help mummy cook. Jessica go and set the table for us" mum ordered
"actually mum can I speak to Leyah"
"sure, but don't make her do your work!" Mum barked
as we walked into the other room I nudged Leyah in her side, and eyed her.
"What do you want!" Leyah asked
"a really nice boy has asked me.. Us to go to Starbucks with him on. Friday, then go back to his. He has a younger brother your age, it might be fun!"
"fine I will come, but mum wont let us if she knows its a boy" Leyah answered smugly
"yeah, so? We won't tell her, just let me handle it"
I dumped the cutlery and plates on the tabled and marched Leyah into the kitchen.
"mum, on Friday after school is my careers fair, Leyah says she wants to go so I said I would take her, then we could get a snack after, we won't be back till 7 ish is that alright ?"
"7! Well I don't know Leyah what do you think?" Mum asked
"I want to mum it will be fun" Leyah answered and shot a fake smile at mum
"well then of course, I'm glad my baby Leyah is taking in interest in her future at such a young age" mum said as she pinched leyahs cheeks and kissed them. Although I could see mum clearly ignoring me I didn't care, I was overjoyed! I could meet Gerard and we would have so much fun just the two of us hanging out, well with our siblings, but who cares?
