I knew that she was upset, she never usually shared her emotions with anyone so I had to assume. But who wouldn't be upset, her life ahead of her will be ruined, and because I'm dedicated to be a good dad mine will be too.

I ran up the stairs and followed my own path guessing where Jessica went. I walked into the art room and saw her back to the door and her fingers running along one of my pictures.

"hey, you alright?" I simply offered

she turned around with a start, I had scared her.

"yeah, yeah I'm fine I just needed to be on my own for a while."

"okay well do you want to come with me I have a surprise..."

I lead her out of the classroom and into the corridor, the halls were empty so we ran along them together and we left the school.
