jess P.O.V

How cliche was that then? My 16th birthday and I get all of Gerard to myself. But a few days had gone by and Gerard and I had pretty much spent them together. I had just woken up and I was about to get some toast bI headed down the stairs when. Oh god... I ran up to the toilet and puked I leaned over the toilet bowl and threw up last nights dinner, This wasn't the first time I had puked since my birthday. Maybe I had gotten food poisoning from the restaurant? Wait, Mikey ate the same thing as I did, maybe he was sick too. I rang Gerards house and spoke to mikey.

"Hey, jess how ya doing?" Mikey said

"not so well actually, I think I might have food poisoning... from the restaurant." I explained how we had eaten the same thing and I asked Mikey if he was sick too. He just told me, "no sorry jess i'm fine, I dont think its food poisoning, maybe you just have a tummy bug" I just replied "okay, thanks bye".

After that I texted Gerard asking him to come over. When he did I had to tell him another reason as to why I might be ill...

"no, it can't be we were safe, we used a condom!"

"I know we did. Thats why Im confused. But i have to confess...I felt something... slip"

"well so did I but I thought it was normal! they don't break!" by now gerard was pacing across the room.

"maybe it was old or something?" There had to of been a reason

"No, no... We have to be sure. Let me get you a test" He blurted out

"okay...Gerard... I'm scared" I admitted holding back the tears

"me too... But we have each other" I could see his eyes shimmering, he was holding back the tears too.

After we got the test we went back to my house and I went into the bathroom. I followed the instructions and once I had done it I waited in my room with Gee... by now both of us were panicking.

I held the test in my hands, I held my future In my hands. Our future... I looked down to see what it read, and cried as soon as the sign appeared, I didn't bother to look at gerard, I threw the test on the floor and ran to the bathroom, I felt like I was going to puke again, but nothing came out. My stomach was empty, but another part of me was growing.

Gerard walked slowly into the bathroom and looked at my face wet with tears, In his hand he held the test. He walked over to me and held me in his arms, when I lifted my head slowly I saw his eyes, I saw the tears streaming down his cheeks.
"a plus" he said quietly enough so I could hear, he handed me the test and I stared at the tiny blue plus, the plus that was going to ruin me.
