Gerard P. O. V Since she left me, i just can't forget about her, i still love her, so very much, my feelings hasn't changed much, I've changed, her leaving me changed me and opened my eyes, I've given up on drugs and alcohol, i dont ever drink anymore it's been two years now, I've locked myself in my room and drew, I spent a year and a half working on my comic The Umbrella Academy, and i got a chance to publish it actually at Dark Horse Comics, and I went to California to fulfill my dream, i always wished that while I'm walking in the streets, i would find her, hug her, and kiss her, but my rage and revenge holds me back sometimes i don't know why did she move, i still have her letter with me, I've read it more than a million times, she loved me, but she left me, i blame myself, if i wasn't a screw up, she wouldn't leave me, i wonder where is she now what is she's doing?. I got to California and it was creepy the first day, i met a friend called Ray Toro who knows someone who works at Dark Horse Comics, today i have to go there and check out the artists there, i want someone different, who is dedicated to art. I enter Dark Horse Comics building, it's very beautiful actually, i saw posters of old comics that I've read. "excuse me sir, may i help you? " the recipient asks me while i was walking round and round. " Umm, yeah I'm Gerard Way, and I'm correctly working on The Umbrella Academy comic" i smiled. "oh yes, we've been expecting you Mr. Way, I'll call Mr. James for you" she smiled. She made a call, and called Mr. James, and after a short time he came down. "Gerard! Ahh my man, we've been waiting for you, right this way, Mr. Way" he smiled. "uhh, yeah that's wasn't funny " i sighed. " sorry, i don't make people laugh, but i sure make them accomplish something "he smiled confidently. I looked away, the man is silly as fuck. " here you go Gerard" he opened the door for me as i enter to a meeting with 3 other people. "so, ladies and gentlemen, this is our new artist Gerard Way, he's working on his brand new comic, The Umbrella Academy " he said welcoming me, i waved and smiled. I sat down next to a women, who seemed very friendly, i think she was friendlier actually! " so Mr. Way what kind of artists you'd like to work with? " the women asked me with a wide smile. " uhh, umm, first of all i would like to work with one artist, and he or she have to be very dedicated to their art" "well, here's a file with the projects that we think you should work with " she gave me a file. After half an hour of looking and going back and forth, i didn't find anything, all of them were not the artists i wanted. " I'm sorry these are a very talented people but i-... "i paused when i saw a drawing hanging from someone file. " Mr. Way? " the women wondered. " show-show me that" i said grabbing the paper as fast as i can. I saw the project, it was perfect, the artist used one type of colors and mixed them together making new beautiful colors, it was the one. "excuse me, who did this? " i said looking blown away. " that's one of our artists Lizley Foster, who works with another comic which she's not available at the moment ". *foster!?? Must been a coincidence * " i would love to work with her, she's amazing " " she's not available sir" the women looks upset "i WANT to work with her" i said smiling. "i guess we can make an exception sir, but if she didn't accept, you have to choose another artist " the man in front of me said. I nodded smiling. " can i meet her now? " " she leaves early, she have a baby to take care of" "oh, that's alright, when I'll get to meet her then" "tomorrow at 10 sir" the man said smiling. "10 it is" i shook hands with them and got out. I was kind of excited to work with this artist, especially she's very talented.
