Summary
What is a stalker to you? Did you think of a human, dank and dirty, creeping through the night, watching those that unwittingly pass by them? Perhaps a clean cut, respectful civilian who harbours a potentially murderous obsession? Well, both could be right. Gerard would have wished for either. But his stalker was much worse, because his wasn’t human; his wasn’t anything anyone had lived to speak about. His stalker, his living shadow, was so much darker.
