ive tried to find new bands but the ones I always seem to find (in my humbled opinion) royally suck ass, so I always ask for recs

You need help finding punk? I have a whole list, so get ready motherfucker. *crackles knuckles, straightens glasses, and opens a big, dusty book named 'Oli's Punk Rock Recs'*

First, you got the classics, like Black Flag and the Misfits (my personal favorites), with Iggy Pop and the Stooges (Iggy Pop and the Stooges are one entity). Then, you have the more well-known ones, such as Nirvana, the Ramones, and AFI.

And then you move on to the ones took me literally months to find, so I'll just help you out right now: Bleed THE Pigs, Dropkick Murphys, 45 Grave, Sublime, Siouxsie and the Banshees, and G.L.O.S.S.

As for rock bands, I can really only recommend more popular options, like Foo Fighters and Queen.

And, even though he isn't rock or punk, I always recommend David Bowie to anyone who asks for music recs.
