Hi, I remember reading a frerard fic on my sister's phone like a year ago and I didn't have an account or anything and her phone is destroyed so I couldn't look at the history to find it but I only remember bits and pieces of the fic since I read it like a year ago so here is what I remember: Frank(I'm pretty sure, it could have been Gerard idk) Had an abusive father and finds Gerard (or Frank, I said idk) and his father comes home drunk or something and (shoots?) his mother and she dies, while Frank is beside her and her final words to him were "carry on without me, be good" or something close to that. He then has nowhere to go so he is forced to get adopted by some family[Idk if this was another fic or not but he was in the hospital and the police questioned him and he asked when he could go home, then realized he didn't have a home to go to anymore, and the cop offered to get him lunch before he went with the adopting family, an when he was in the car, the adopting mother and father were there, mother driving, and the father asks who he was texting and Frank/Gerard replied "my boyfriend" and he said "you know Frank(Gerard?), homosexuality is a sin." the mother gasps and tells him that was out of line and Frank/Gerard replies "It's ok, I don't really give a fuck about what he thinks".](right before he had to leave for good, Gerard and Frank had sex in the shower) it wasn't too far away and they had cell phones to keep in contact. I think it was a home full of other adoptees and I'm pretty sure Ray Toro was one of them, he had sheet music everywhere, and If I recall correctly, a You Me At Six poster on his door, along with a bunch of other band posters in his room. I think he was playing his guitar when they first met in his room. A nice girl who had been living there a long time led him around and showed him his new room, and said a few things about the others living there and told him she would get him when dinner was ready and to get unpacked in the mean time. The last thing I remember is the nice girl's (boyfriend?) hated Frank/Gerard and before she got on the bus to go to school, she mouthed to Frank/Gerard "Im so sorry" and he has no idea why, and that was the last chapter I got to read.
